Santiago is a pair of cotton jogger trousers by Kalimo: 95% cotton, 5% spandex, an elastic waist and two pockets. Simple, and made in four colours.
Please read this before you order. The photos show the trousers with a matching cropped jacket. The supplier sells the jacket separately, and this page is for the trousers alone.

The piece: the Santiago trousers
Kalimo says the Santiago pants are sewn from cotton with a small amount of elastane, so that they keep their shape through washing and wear. Two pockets hold your keys or phone on a walk.
The supplier then suggests matching them with a sweatshirt in the same material to make a set. That is the jacket you see in the gallery. The earlier title of this page sold both as one set, which was wrong, and we have corrected it.
The colours are pink, black, grey and beige. The pink is a soft blush in the photos, and our button calls it peach.
Who it's for
For you if you want jogging trousers that are mostly cotton. Many are mostly synthetic; these are 95% cotton.
The size range runs from S, for hips of 91 to 95 cm, to XXL, for hips of 111 to 115 cm.

The size table has no leg length and the maker does not mention a drawcord. On the model the trousers reach the ankle.
Fabric and feel: 95% cotton
The composition is 95% cotton and 5% spandex. The maker calls it sweatshirt cotton. Expect a soft, matte jersey that breathes and gets softer with washing.
The spandex is there for shape. According to the maker it keeps the trousers from deforming, so knees and seat spring back after a day on the sofa. We have no fabric weight and do not know whether the inside is brushed.
Fit and silhouette: relaxed
The table gives body ranges for hips and waist. Size M is for hips of 96 to 100 cm and a waist of 70 to 74 cm; size XL for 106 to 110 cm and 80 to 84 cm.
In the photos the waistband sits low on the hips and the leg is loose without being wide. There is no length in the table. If you are tall or short, ask us before you order and we will ask the supplier for the inseam.

Styling: at home and outside
In the photos the trousers are part of a tone-on-tone look with the matching jacket. A hoodie or sweatshirt in a close colour gives you the same effect.
Outside the house, white sneakers and a long coat make joggers look intended. The beige and the grey are the easiest to dress up with a shirt and loafers.
Occasions
The maker mentions walks. We would add travel days, working from home and Sunday.
They are leisure trousers. The maker says nothing about sport or moisture, so for a hard workout choose sports fabric.
Care: follow the label
The maker's data has no washing instructions beyond the remark that the trousers keep their shape in the wash. Follow the label sewn into them.
Cotton jersey in general holds its colour longer when washed inside out with similar colours.
The wow detail: what it is made of
There is no trick here. The detail worth noticing is the label: 95% cotton. On skin that is a different feeling from a synthetic jogger, cooler in a warm room and less clingy. Sometimes the plain version of a thing is the one you keep wearing.
