The piece: Awama trousers in three colours
Awama describes trousers with wide legs in delicate stripes, with an elastic waistband, and suggests pairing them with a vest or blazer in the same fabric. That last sentence tells you the top is another product. The earlier title on this page sold the two together, which was not right.
On the fabric the supplier's text and table differ. The text calls them linen trousers. The composition table says 85% viscose and 15% linen. We go by the table, so this is a viscose fabric with some linen in it.
There are three colours: navy blue with a white stripe, and two that the supplier both calls beige. In the photos one is a sand beige and the other an off-white, each with a darker stripe.
Who it's for
For you if you want smart trousers for warm days that do not pinch at the waist. An elastic band in a tailored-looking trouser is a quiet comfort.
The legs are long. Size M measures 115 cm, which reaches the floor on the model in flat shoes. If you are shorter, plan for a hem or for heels.

Fabric and feel: mostly viscose, some linen
The table gives 85% viscose and 15% linen. Viscose makes the fabric soft and gives it drape, so the wide legs swing. The linen adds a slightly dry, textured hand and the look of a summer suit.
The supplier says the fabric breathes. Both fibres crease when you sit, linen more than viscose. With a pinstripe that reads as relaxed, and it is part of the look.
Fit and silhouette: high waist, long leg
The waist is a range because the band stretches: 68 to 72 cm in S, 72 to 76 cm in M, 76 to 80 cm in L and 80 to 84 cm in XL. Hips width goes from 96 cm to 108 cm.
Length is 114 cm in S and grows by one centimetre per size. Measure from your waist to the floor in the shoes you want to wear. The leg should almost touch the ground for the long line in the photos.

Styling: with or without the waistcoat
The photos show the full look: matching waistcoat, loafers, nothing underneath but a bare arm. Without the waistcoat, a white T-shirt or a fine-knit tank tucked in gives a similar line.
The navy takes a white shirt for work. The light shades are holiday trousers with sandals and a loose shirt.
Occasions
The supplier speaks of a summer look. We see the office on warm days, a terrace dinner and a wedding where a dress is not your thing.
They are light trousers, so in winter they need tights underneath or a warmer season.
Care: follow the label
The maker's data has no washing instructions, so follow the label sewn into the trousers.
Viscose and linen in general can shrink in a hot wash. With a leg this long a centimetre shows, so a cool wash and line drying are the careful choice unless the label says otherwise.
