These are maternity sweatpants, and you should know that before you order. PeeKaBoo made them for pregnancy, with a wide panel at the top that the maker describes as non-compressive.
The legs are loose and end in a cuff at the ankle. The fabric is 95% viscose with 5% spandex. There are two sizes, S/M and L/XL, in dark grey and black.

The piece: a loose trouser with a belly panel
The supplier files these trousers under pregnancy fashion and describes them in one line: maternity sweatpants with a loose fit and a non-compressive panel. There are two models behind this page, 147529 in grey and 147530 in black.
The photos show how the panel works. It is a wide band of the same jersey. One photo shows it pulled up high, another shows it folded down under the bump of a pregnant model. Below the panel a cord is tied in a bow.
The first three photos show a light grey version. We have no model for that colour, so it cannot be ordered here. Our 'Charcoal' button is the supplier's grey, a dark grey in the photos.
Who it's for
For you if you are pregnant and want trousers that leave your belly alone. The panel has no hard waistband, and the waist measurement is given as a range that grows with you.
It can also be worn after the birth, with the panel folded down. If you are not pregnant and simply want loose jersey trousers, be aware that the top is cut with room for a bump.

Fabric and feel: viscose jersey with stretch
The composition is 95% viscose and 5% spandex. Viscose jersey is thin and supple and hangs in soft folds, which you can see in the legs in the photos.
The spandex gives the stretch that the panel needs. Because the fabric is thin, these are trousers for indoors and mild weather more than for a cold day outside.
Fit and silhouette: loose legs, cuffed ankles
S/M is 98 cm long with hips of 102 cm and a waist that runs from 68 to 84 cm. L/XL is 99 cm long with hips of 112 cm and a waist of 74 to 90 cm.
Choose the size you wore before your pregnancy. The range in the waist is there so the trousers keep fitting as your belly grows.

Styling: easy tops, flat shoes
The photos show the trousers with a fitted strap top and pumps. At home you will more likely wear them with a long T-shirt or an open cardigan and trainers.
A fitted top shows the bump and balances the loose legs. In black, with a long shirt and flat ankle boots, they are neat enough for a day at work.
Occasions
These are trousers for the sofa, the midwife appointment, a walk and a long car journey. They are also a kind choice for the hospital bag, because nothing presses on your belly afterwards.

The maker's data has no care instructions, so follow the label sewn into the trousers.
Viscose jersey generally keeps its shape longer if you hang it or lay it flat to dry and keep it out of a hot dryer.
