These sweatpants by Ex Moda carry a big white letter A on the left thigh, the kind you know from college jackets. The cuffs at the ankle are ribbed with white stripes, and a white drawcord hangs from the elastic waist.
The fabric is 70% cotton and 30% polyester. They come in one size, 98 cm long, in two greens and a beige.

The piece: three colour models by Ex Moda
Ex Moda describes them in one line: women's sweatpants with an elastic band and binding at the waist, and slip-on pockets on the sides. The letter patch and the striped cuffs are not in the text, but they are on every photo.
Model 166628 is the bright green and 166631, our "green 2", the darker green. Model 166629 is beige. Here we have to be careful: the photos show beige in two tones, a camel and a light sand, and the maker's data has one beige. We can't tell you for certain which of the two you will get.
Who it's for
For you if your joggers may be seen. These are made for the street as much as for the sofa, and the bright green is not shy.
One size means you need to check the waist. It measures 72 cm before stretching, and the elastic and the cord do the rest.

Fabric and feel: mostly cotton
The blend is 70% cotton and 30% polyester, a common mix for sweatshirt fabric. In the photos the cloth looks thick and holds its shape around the knee and the cuff.
The maker does not say whether the inside is brushed. If you want to know before ordering, ask us and we will pass the question on.
Fit and size: one size, and one odd number
The maker's table gives a length of 98 cm and a waist of 72 cm. It also lists an inseam of 30 cm. That can't be the inside leg of trousers that are 98 cm long. We think it is the rise, the distance from the crotch to the waistband, which fits the high waist you see in the photos. We have reported it.
On the models the leg is relaxed and gathers at the ankle cuff. The cut is forgiving in the hips and thighs. The waist is the limit: the elastic stretches, but if your waist is much wider than 72 cm, a one-size pair may sit too tight.
Styling: short top, chunky trainers
In the photos the sweatpants are worn with crop tops and trainers, and the green pair even gets a matching bucket hat. A short top makes sense with a waistband this high.
For colder days, tuck in a white T-shirt and add a jean jacket or an oversized hoodie. The beige pair works with heeled sandals, as one of the models shows, which takes it from the gym to a terrace.
Occasions
The maker files them under tracksuit bottoms and sports trousers. Wear them to a dance class, for a walk, on a travel day or at home on a Sunday.
Care: follow the label
The maker's data has no care instructions, so go by the label sewn into the trousers.
Wash them inside out to protect the letter patch, and tie the drawcord in a loose bow so it doesn't slip into the waistband.
The wow detail: the A
One letter turns plain joggers into something with a story. The A is white with a dark outline and a textured surface, stitched on at thigh height. Together with the striped cuffs it borrows from the American college look, and it makes the trousers easy to recognise from across the street.
