Description
A plant mister shaped like a small pumpkin
This plant mister has a round, ribbed body like a small pumpkin and a bronze-look pump on top. You press the top of the pump and a fine mist comes out of the spout.
The body is tinted and clear, in purple, green or blue. It looks like glass in the photos, but the supplier states plastic for the whole mister, pump included. You receive one mister per order.

The piece: an old-fashioned shape in plastic
The shape copies the misters people once kept next to their ferns. The pump has a flat plunger on top, an angled spout and a ring for your finger. Through the tinted body you see the water level and the dip tube.
The pump is bronze in colour only. The supplier describes it as plastic with an imitation copper look. We sell the mister without a brand, because the supplier data names no maker.
Who it's for
For you if you mist your houseplants and would like to leave the mister out on the shelf between uses. It is a small one for a windowsill of plants. For a greenhouse or a garden you need something bigger.

- Fine mist when you press the top (supplier and photos)
- Capacity and size are not given (supplier gap)
- Plants and pots in the photos are not included
Materials and build: plastic that looks like glass
We want to be clear about this one, because the photos suggest otherwise. The supplier lists plastic and nothing else. The body is see-through and tinted, which gives it the look of coloured glass, and the pump has a bronze colour. Neither is what it looks like.
The upside of plastic is weight: it stays light in the hand when it is full. The purple is a pale, pinkish lilac in the photos and the green a sea green.
Size and dimensions: not given, and we say so
The supplier gives neither the capacity nor the size of the mister. The only figure is the packaging: 18 x 11 x 11 cm. The mister fits inside that box, so it is smaller than those numbers.
In the photos it stands next to a small succulent pot and is somewhat taller than the pot with its pump. If you need the exact capacity, ask us and we will put the question to the supplier.
Styling: leave it between the plants
The supplier shows it on a side table and next to a succulent, and that is the idea: it is meant to be seen. Green blends in with the leaves. Purple and blue stand out against them.
Filled with water, the tinted body catches the light on a windowsill.
When you'll use it
You reach for it on your weekly round of the houseplants, for the ferns and other plants that like a mist on their leaves. It is also a small gift for someone with a new plant or a first home of their own.
Care: clean water, and empty it now and then
The supplier gives no care instructions. As general practice for a pump mister, fill it with clean water, empty it if you won't use it for a few weeks, and rinse the body by hand. If the spout clogs with limescale, pump some lukewarm water through it.
The wow detail: the ribs
The ribs are what turn a bottle into a pumpkin. They run from the neck to the base, and with water inside each rib bends the light a little differently. It is a small thing, and it is the reason this mister can stay out on the shelf.
