An evening gown in two fabrics, one matte and one metallic
Moe built this evening gown out of contrast. Most of it is a smooth matte fabric. Then a knit with a metallic sheen crosses the neckline and runs down the edge of the slit, so the shine appears where the dress moves.
It is a narrow maxi, 146 cm long in S and 147.5 cm in XL, with a high slit at the front and a covered zip on the side. The upper part is lined. It comes in black or beige.

The supplier describes a maxi dress sewn from a combination of smooth fabric and knit with a metallic sheen. It names a crossed neckline, a high slit in the front, a covered zipper on the side and a lined upper part, and states that the dress was designed and sewn in Poland.
The photos show how the two fabrics are divided. Two bands cross at the front of the neck, one matte and one metallic, with a small opening just below the cross. From the waist down the metallic knit returns as a long panel behind the slit. The back is closed and plain.

For you if you want a long dress for a formal evening and find full sequins too much. Here the shine is rationed. You get a flash at the neckline and another when you take a step.

Fabric and feel: polyester with 5% spandex
The maker gives one composition for the dress, 95% polyester and 5% spandex, and does not split it between the smooth fabric and the metallic knit. On the black dress the metallic part looks silver-tone. On the beige dress it is a pale gold-tone.
The upper part is lined, which helps the bodice sit smoothly. The skirt is not mentioned as lined, so assume it is a single layer.
Fit and silhouette: a narrow column
This is a close fit. Size M has a chest of 85 cm, a waist of 75 cm and hips of 97 cm, and each size adds 5 cm to all three. Go by your hips, because a column skirt has little to spare there.
The length barely changes, from 146 cm in S to 147.5 cm in XL. On the model in heels the hem reaches the ankle. If you are under about average height, plan on heels or a visit to a tailor.

Styling: repeat the metal once
The model wears metallic sandals with thin straps, silver-tone with the black dress and gold-tone with the beige. That is all the dress asks for.
Skip the necklace, since the crossed bands already fill the neckline. Earrings and a small clutch in the same metal tone finish it. Hair up shows the bare shoulders.
Occasions
