Leopard wide leg trousers as soft as a blanket
These leopard wide leg trousers by Aurea Edit are made of a plush, fluffy fabric and cut very wide. They have an elastic waist with a ribbon drawstring, and pockets.
The supplier lists them as 100% polyester. There are three prints, tan leopard, white leopard and green camouflage, and four sizes from S to XL.

The piece: loungewear shape, going-out print
The supplier keeps it to a few words: leopard wide leg pants, drawstring, pocketed. The photos tell you what kind of trousers these are. A close-up shows a fabric with a short fluffy pile, the sort you know from a soft throw blanket. The waistband is gathered and tied with a black ribbon bow.
The leg is the widest part of the story. It falls straight from the hip, covers most of the boot and bunches a little at the floor. In the photos they are worn low on the hips.
Who it's for
For you if your ideal Sunday involves a sofa, and you still want to be able to open the door or walk to the bakery. They are soft enough for home and bold enough that nobody will take them for pyjamas.

Fabric and feel: plush polyester
The supplier states 100% polyester and nothing more. The photos add that the outside has a soft pile, and that the print goes all the way into it.
We do not know whether the inside is brushed too, how heavy the fabric is, or whether it stretches, because the supplier does not say. A pile fabric like this usually feels cosy. We will not put a number on how warm it is.
Fit: wide from the hip down
The supplier's chart: waist 65 cm in S, 69.1 cm in M, 74.9 cm in L and 81 cm in XL. Hip 103.9 cm to 119.9 cm. Length 102.1 cm to 104.9 cm.
The waist is elastic and the ribbon lets you tighten it, so the waist figure is a starting point. Choose on the hip. The length is generous. If you are under average height the hem will rest on the floor, as it does in the photos, so wear a shoe with a sole.

Styling: small and plain on top
In the photos they are worn with a white cropped long-sleeve top and brown ankle boots. A short, close top balances all that volume below.
At home, a hoodie works. Outside, try a fitted black roll-neck and a short jacket. One print at a time is enough.
Occasions
Wear them on the sofa, on a slow morning, for a film night, on a long car journey or for a quick trip to the shops. In the camouflage print they also suit a festival campsite.
Care: machine wash cold
The supplier's instructions: machine wash cold, tumble dry low. Our own tip for pile fabrics: wash them inside out and skip the fabric softener, which can flatten the pile.
The wow detail: the ribbon bow
Most drawstrings are a cord. This one is a black ribbon, tied in a bow at the front. Against the fluffy print it looks like the bow on a present, and it adds a small feminine note to a pair of very relaxed trousers.
