The design is quiet. A thin band, one round stone that catches the light, and a trail of smaller stones that thin out towards the back (photos). On the hand it looks like a small spark rather than a big ring.

The supplier calls it platinum-plated, which means a thin platinum layer on the surface. The supplier does not say what metal is underneath, so we can't tell you that.

Materials and finish

The supplier names two things: zircon stones and a platinum-plated finish. We give you exactly that and nothing more. We have no hallmark or certificate on file for this piece. The stones are clear in the photos and the band is silver-tone. Stone sizes are not given.

Size: ask before you order

You can choose size 6, 7 or 8, but the supplier gives no size chart and no inner diameter. Measure a ring that fits you well, inside edge to inside edge, and send us the number. We will check it against the supplier before you order, which saves you a return.

Styling: alone or stacked

Worn alone, as in the photo, it looks clean and simple. Stack it with one or two plain silver-tone bands for more shine, or wear it on the index finger for a more modern look. Small studs in the same colour finish the set.

Occasions

A birthday, an anniversary, Sinterklaas, or a promise between two people. It is also a small treat for yourself after a big week.

Care: keep it dry

The supplier gives no care instructions. For plated jewellery in general: take it off before washing your hands, showering or swimming, keep it away from perfume and lotion, and store it in its box. Wipe it with a soft dry cloth.

The small stones on each side get smaller as they move away from the centre stone. When you move your hand, the light jumps along the band from one stone to the next.
