This tie-neck blouse is made of 100% cotton, according to the supplier, and carries rows of wavy eyelet embroidery on the front, the back and the sleeves. It has a stand collar with two ties, a button front and a scalloped hem.
The fit is loose. Size S is 70 cm long with a 114 cm bust, and size L is 72 cm long with a 122 cm bust. The colour is off-white.

The piece: eyelets that run in waves
Eyelet embroidery is a row of small holes with stitched edges. On this blouse the rows run in waves across the whole body and down the sleeves, with plain cotton in between. The bottom edge follows the last wave, which gives the hem its scallops.
Two long, thin ties hang from the stand collar. The model wears them loose; you can also knot them or tie a bow. The cuffs are elasticated and end in a small ruffle. We sell the blouse without a brand, because the supplier data names no maker.

Fabric and feel: cotton with open rows
The supplier states 100% cotton and we have no reason to doubt it: the eyelet fabric in the photos looks like cotton broderie. The supplier gives no fabric weight.
Eyelets are holes, so the blouse is partly open. A little skin, or the top you wear underneath, will show through the rows. If you would like less of that, wear a plain camisole under it.
Fit and silhouette: loose, with a low shoulder
The supplier calls the fit loose and relaxed, and the table agrees. The bust goes from 114 cm in S to 122 cm in L, and the shoulder width from 51 cm to 53 cm, so the shoulder seam sits below your own shoulder. On the model the hem covers the hip.
The sleeves are 53 cm to 55 cm long and full, and they gather into the elasticated cuff. Allow 1-3 cm difference on each figure.

Styling: over jeans, ties loose
The supplier's photos show it worn loose over wide blue jeans with a woven bag, and the ties hanging down. That is the easy version.
For something neater, tie the bands in a bow and tuck the front into tailored trousers. On a hot day, leave the top buttons open and push the cuffs up your forearm; the elastic holds them there.
Occasions
Wear it to a lunch outside or on a city trip when you want one top that works from morning to evening. With trousers and the ties in a bow it goes to the office as well.
Care: cold hand wash, dry in the shade
The supplier says: hand wash cold or dry clean, do not bleach, and dry in the shade. As general practice for cotton embroidery, press it on the inside while it is still slightly damp, so the stitching stays raised.
The wow detail: a hem that follows the wave
Most blouses end in a straight line. This one ends in scallops, because the hem is cut along the last row of embroidery. You see it most clearly from the back, where the waves run across the full width without a button band in the way.
