For once the supplier's text is a plain list, and we like it for that. Outer material: textile. Lining: none. Sole: rubber, beige. Closure: slip-on. Collection: autumn and winter. The style is called Lokira, and the wholesaler files it under over-the-knee boots.
The one thing missing is the shaft height. In the photos the knit ends a hand above the knee on the model.
Who it's for
For you if you like the over-the-knee look and want to walk in it all day. The sole is a trainer sole, so the 8 cm sits under the whole foot as a platform and not on a thin heel.
A knitted shaft stretches, which helps with calves and thighs of every size. It can also slide down on slim legs, as knit boots do.

Materials and build: knit on rubber
The upper is textile, and the supplier does not name the fibre. There is no lining, so what you see on the outside is what touches your leg. The sole is rubber.
The boots are listed in the autumn and winter collection. An unlined knit is not weatherproof, though, and pale beige shows dirt. We would keep them for dry days.
Size and fit: check the insole
The insole is 23 cm in size 36, 24 cm in 37, 24.5 cm in 38, 25 cm in 39, 25.5 cm in 40 and 26.5 cm in 41. The steps are uneven, so measure your foot and do not rely on your usual number.
A sock boot holds the foot with stretch, not with laces. A snug fit is what you want here.

Styling: short above, long below
The photos pair them with dotted tights and short shorts. The rule with over-the-knee boots is simple: leave a strip of leg or tights between the boot and the hem.

From the knee up it is a stocking. From the ankle down it is a chunky trainer. The join between the two is hidden, so the knit seems to grow out of the sole. It is an odd idea that looks right the moment you see it on a leg.
