The piece: model 206395 by Italy Moda
Italy Moda sells this skirt through a fashion wholesaler in Poland. One colour is still being made. The maker calls it green and our colour button says "Light Blue"; in the photos it is the mint green of the third to sixth picture. The blue model has been discontinued.
The gallery also shows the skirt in light blue, cobalt, white and beige. None of those can be ordered here. We left the photos because they show the pleats and the back from several angles.
The maker describes a short pleated skirt with a smooth, minimalist look, slightly elastic, to wear with shirts, blouses or sweaters.
Who it's for
For you if you like a short skirt that moves. The pleats start below the hip, so the top of the skirt lies flat and the hem swings.
It is short. On the model the hem sits at the upper thigh, and the maker gives no length. If you are tall, expect it to be shorter still.

The composition is 52% cotton, 40% nylon and 8% spandex. The maker describes the fabric as slightly elastic. In the photos it is smooth and has enough body to keep the pleats sharp.

Fit and silhouette: choose by your waist
There are two sizes. S/M covers a waist of 72 to 86 cm and L/XL a waist of 84 to 96 cm. The yoke is fitted, so the skirt should sit close at the waist and hip and then flare.
If your waist is between 84 and 86 cm, both sizes include you. Take S/M for a snug fit and L/XL if you want to tuck in a thick jumper.

Styling: sweatshirt or blouse
The photos show three directions. With a cropped blazer in the same colour it becomes a suit. With a grey sweatshirt it turns sporty. With a white ruffled blouse it is dressed up.
The maker suggests shirts, blouses or sweaters, and all of them work as long as the top ends at the waistband or is tucked in, so the flat yoke stays visible. Opaque tights and loafers take the skirt into autumn.
Occasions
The maker says the skirt works for various occasions. We think of days in town, lectures, a birthday and summer evenings. For an office with a dress code it is probably too short.
Care: follow the label
The maker's data has no care instructions, so go by the label sewn into the skirt. We would rather tell you that than guess.
One general habit for pleats: hang the skirt by the waistband to dry and smooth the pleats with your hands while the fabric is damp.

Most pleated skirts start their pleats at the waistband, which adds bulk exactly where few people want it. Here a flat panel runs from the waist to the hip, and only then do the pleats open. The result is a smooth line at the top and all the movement at the bottom.
