In the photos the dark camouflage is green and khaki. The light one is navy and grey on cream. Multicolor 3 has pink, yellow and green flowers on white, and the button grey is a grey flower print on white.

Who it's for

For you if you like your legs in the sun and your waist comfortable. An elastic band and a flared shape make this a skirt you do not have to think about.

The size range also runs up to XXXL, with a waist of 100 cm in the maker's table.

Fabric and feel: crisp printed cotton

The skirt is 100% cotton. In the photos the fabric has enough body to hold the frills out from the legs, so the skirt keeps its bell shape when you stand still. Expect it to crease a little when you sit, as cotton does.

Fit and silhouette: short and flared

Length barely changes: 44.5 cm in XS, 45 in S, 45.5 in M, 46 in L, 46.5 in XL and 47 cm in XXL and XXXL. The waist goes from 64 cm in XS to 100 cm in XXXL in even steps.

Choose by your waist. The table does not say whether the elastic is measured relaxed or stretched, so if you are between sizes, the larger one is the safer choice for a skirt that should sit easy.

Styling: trainers by day, sandals at night

The photos show two moods. The camouflage skirts are worn with a fitted ribbed top and chunky white trainers. The flower skirts get a white crop top and heeled sandals.

In spring, add tights and ankle boots and a jean jacket. A short full skirt works with anything that is fitted on top.

Occasions

This is a skirt for warm days: the city, a terrace, a festival, a holiday. The supplier names no occasion. The old title called it elegant; we think casual is the fair word.

Care: follow the label

The maker's data has no care instructions, so go by the label sewn into the skirt. Printed cotton keeps its colour longer when you wash it inside out.

The wow detail: two frills

One frill would make this an ordinary flared skirt. The second one, set above the first, gives it a small step halfway down and twice the swing. When the model turns in the photos, both layers lift.
