Materials and feel: what we know and what we do not

The maker names three materials: latex for the bottom part, tulle for the inserts and cotton for the crotch. There are no percentages in the supplier data.

In the photos the dark parts have a matte wet-look sheen and drape like a stretch fabric. We cannot tell from a photo whether that is real latex or a coated fabric. If you have a latex allergy, ask us before you order and we will check with the supplier.

Fit and sizes: go by your body measurements

The maker's table lists body ranges. Size M is for a chest of 87-97 cm and hips of 93-98 cm. Size XL is for a chest of 97-107 cm and hips of 103-108 cm. XXL covers hips of 110-118 cm.

Measure your chest at the fullest point and your hips at the widest point, and take the size where both fall inside the range. If they point to different sizes, we would follow the chest, because the straps and the snap closure give some room in the length and the underwire does not.

Styling: under a blazer, or on its own

Worn as a top, it works under an open black blazer with high-waisted trousers; the tulle at the waist then shows as a detail between jacket and waistband.

With a long, glossy skirt it becomes an evening outfit. As lingerie it needs nothing.
