The piece: the Melania set
SoftLine Collection is a lingerie label we buy through a fashion wholesaler in Poland. The supplier's description of Melania is brief: a chemise in transparent mesh, tied at the back of the neck, with stripes and lace decorating the bust, a cut-out under the bust and at the back, a hook fastening, and a string included.
The photos show how those parts fit together. Under the lace cups runs a band in a skin-tone colour with a small ring at the centre. Below it the mesh flares out into a short skirt with a wavy hem. The back is bare down to a band that closes with the hook.
Two photos in the gallery show a black version. The supplier no longer lists it, so red is the colour to order.

For you if you want lingerie that is playful and a little bold, for yourself or for an evening with someone. Self care can look like this too.
It also makes a gift, as long as you know the size. With two double sizes the choice is forgiving, and the tie at the neck and the hook at the back let the wearer adjust it.

Fabric and feel: sheer mesh and lace
The supplier names two fabrics, transparent mesh and lace, and gives no fibre composition. We cannot tell you the percentages, and we will not guess them. The label in the garment will list them.
What you can see in the photos: the mesh is fine and fully see-through, and it hangs loosely from the band under the bust. The lace on the cups has a floral pattern with a scalloped edge.
Fit and silhouette: adjustable at neck and back
The maker's table gives ranges. S/M covers a chest of 86-92 cm, a waist of 66-74 cm and hips of 90-98 cm. M/L covers a chest of 92-100 cm, a waist of 74-82 cm and hips of 98-106 cm.
The chest is the number to check, because the band under the bust is the only part that sits close. From there the mesh falls free, so waist and hips matter less for the chemise and more for the thong. If your chest is 92 cm, right on the border, pick by your hips.

Styling: keep it simple
A piece like this needs very little. In the photos it is worn on its own with loose hair. A light robe over it gives you something to take off, and bare feet or heeled mules both suit it.
Tie the halter in a bow you can undo with one pull. That is half the fun of a neck tie.

The wow detail: the back
From the front you see lace and straps. Turn around and there is almost nothing: a tie at the neck, bare skin down to a narrow band with a hook, and then the mesh. It is the view in the second photo, and it is the reason this is more than a red nightie.
