This sleeveless top by SYNZ has a round neck, a loose straight body and a fabric with a metallic, pale gold sheen. It is the kind of top you put on with jeans when you want to look as if you made an effort.
The supplier lists 92% polyester and 8% elastane. It comes in sizes S to XL, and size S has a bust of 96 cm.

The piece: a plain shape in a fabric that is anything but
The supplier calls it a round neck tank top in a basic style, and the shape is indeed simple. The neck is round and finished with a band. There are no sleeves, but the shoulder is cut wide, so it reaches just past the shoulder point and gives the top a square, slightly structured line. A band finishes the armhole.
Then there is the fabric. In the photos it shines like foil, in a pale gold that leans towards champagne. The shop lists the colour as Tan. We would call it gold-coloured, and it is a colour only. There is no gold in it.
Who it's for
For you if you want one festive top that you can also wear on a Thursday. The cut is forgiving: with a waist of 93 cm in size S it hangs free of the body.
The wide shoulder covers bra straps, so you can wear your normal underwear.

Fabric and feel: polyester with a foil-like shine
The composition is 92% polyester and 8% elastane. The supplier also states "no stretch", which sits oddly next to 8% elastane. We pass on both statements as given and suggest you choose your size as if the fabric does not give.
In the photos the outside is smooth and reflective, and the inside of the neck looks matte. The supplier does not describe the finish, so we cannot tell you how the sheen is made or how it wears over time.
Fit: straight and roomy
The supplier's chart: bust 96 cm in S, 102.1 cm in M, 108 cm in L and 116.1 cm in XL. Waist 93 cm, 99.1 cm, 104.9 cm and 111 cm. Length 61.5 cm, 63.5 cm, 65.5 cm and 67.6 cm.
Bust and waist are almost the same, so the top falls straight down. It is meant to be loose. Your usual size will give the fit in the photos; take a size down only if you want it closer and the bust figure still leaves you room.

Styling: jeans below, gold at the neck
The photos show it with blue jeans, straight and flared, and with a chunky gold-coloured necklace. The front tucked into the waistband gives it some shape.
For a party, wear it with black wide trousers or a black skirt and heels. Under a dark blazer only the front shows, which tones the shine down for the office drinks.
Occasions
Wear it at Christmas dinner, on New Year's Eve, at a birthday or on a date. With jeans and trainers it also works for a Saturday lunch.
Care: machine wash cold
The supplier's instructions: machine wash cold, tumble dry low. With a metallic finish we would be careful on top of that: turn the top inside out, use a laundry bag and do not press the shiny side with heat.
The wow detail: the way it catches light
Because the body is loose, the fabric folds as you move, and every fold throws the light somewhere else. One of the photos is a close-up of those folds: bands of pale gold and deep bronze next to each other. A tight metallic top cannot do that.
