This viscose blouse by Nife is a classic shirt with one addition: a jabot, a soft ruffle that runs down both sides of the buttons. It has a collar, long sleeves and a fitted cut.
The fabric is 100% viscose. You can choose from navy blue, a deep green and maroon, in sizes 36 to 42.

The piece: three colours by Nife
Nife sells this shirt through a fashion wholesaler in Poland with a model number per colour: 218899 in navy blue, 219773 in green and 219786, which the maker calls violet. In the photos that third colour is a plum-toned red, and our button says "Maroon".
The maker describes a fitted women's shirt with a classic collar and long sleeves that fastens with buttons and carries a decorative jabot. The supplier sees it at the office and at special occasions.
Who it's for
For you if your work wardrobe is full of plain shirts and you want one with a little theatre. The ruffle sits where a tie or a necklace would, so the blouse dresses itself.
The sizes run from 36 to 42. If you usually wear a size above 42, this one will be too small in the chest.

Fabric and feel: 100% viscose
The blouse is 100% viscose, with no stretch fibre added. Viscose is made from cellulose. It is smooth, it drapes softly and it feels cool on the skin, which is why it is used so often for blouses.
In the photos the fabric is matte and the ruffle falls in loose waves instead of standing stiff. Viscose creases easily, so expect to press or steam it.
Fit and silhouette: shaped at the waist
The chest measures 96 cm in size 36 and grows by 4 cm per size to 108 cm in size 42. The waist is clearly narrower each time: 83, 87, 91 and 95 cm. That difference is what the maker means by fitted.
The fabric has no stretch, so do not size down. Measure a woven shirt that fits you across the chest, double it and pick the row that matches. If you are between two sizes, take the larger one and tuck it in.

Styling: tucked in, top button your choice
The photos show the blouse tucked into wide trousers, a pencil skirt and cropped trousers. Tucking in is the right idea, because it lets the ruffle end cleanly at the waistband.
Buttoned to the top, the collar frames the jabot and the look is formal. With two buttons open the ruffle spreads and softens. Skip the necklace either way. Under a blazer, let the ruffle sit over the lapels.
Occasions
The maker names the office and special occasions. Think of a presentation, a job interview, a concert or a Christmas dinner where a dress feels like too much and a plain shirt like too little.
Care: follow the label
The maker's data has no care instructions, so go by the label sewn into the blouse. We would rather tell you that than guess.
A general remark about viscose: it is weaker when wet and can shrink in hot water, so stay at or below the temperature on the label and do not wring it. Press the ruffle from the inside, while the fabric is still slightly damp.
