From the outside this is a long black blazer with a simple cut. Push the sleeves up and the cuffs turn back to show a black-and-white check lining. That is the whole trick, and it is a good one.
Nife makes it in sizes 36 to 44. It is 74.5 cm long in the smallest size and 80 cm in the largest, which puts the hem below the hip.

The piece: model 216883 by Nife
Nife sells this blazer through a fashion wholesaler in Poland as part of its autumn and winter collection. The maker calls it simple in its cut, made for a work look, with patterned cuffs that add character after hours.
The description also mentions trousers in the same pattern as the cuff lining, to wear as a set. Those are a separate item and are not included here. The black trousers in the photos are not included either.
In the photos the pattern is a houndstooth check, and the blazer has notched lapels and flap pockets at the hip.
Who it's for
For you if you need one black jacket for work and want it to have a second mood. With the sleeves down it is plain. With the sleeves up it has a pattern at the wrist.

The maker does not describe a closure, and in all three photos the blazer is worn open. We also cannot confirm whether the body is lined in the same pattern or only the cuffs. Ask us if you need to know before you order.
Fabric and feel: a polyester and viscose suiting
The composition is 74.8% polyester, 23.1% viscose and 2.1% spandex. In the photos the cloth is matte and smooth, with a clean edge on the lapel and no shine at the seams.
The small share of spandex gives a little stretch across the back when you reach forward. The maker lists no fabric weight.
Fit and silhouette: long and almost straight
In every size the waist is a few centimetres narrower than the chest: 104 and 99.5 cm in size 36, 120 and 115.5 cm in size 44. So the blazer is shaped a little, but it is closer to straight than to waisted.
Measure a jacket you own across the chest with the front closed, double the number and compare it with the table. Between two sizes, think about what you wear underneath. A fine knit needs the larger one.

Styling: sleeves up
The photos show the blazer open over a white camisole, with black trousers and black pumps, sleeves pushed to the elbow. Copy that for the office and you are done.
After work, keep the sleeves up and change what is under the jacket: a black top and straight jeans, or a short dress, so the hem of the blazer and the hem of the dress sit close together. Because the cuff pattern is black and white, anything in those two colours will pick it up.
Occasions
The maker names work and after-hours outfits. It is a jacket for meetings, presentations and the dinner that follows them. It also works as a light coat on a mild autumn day, since it is long enough to cover a short skirt.
