This peplum midi dress by Numoco is a fitted dress with one twist at the waist. A short flounce, the peplum, runs around the hips and is cut longer on one side than on the other. The maker calls it an elegant midi dress with an asymmetrical basque and small short sleeves.
The fabric is 95% polyester and 5% spandex. Two colours are available, powder pink and dark green, and the length is 100 to 104 cm in pink and 103 cm in most green sizes.

The piece: two colours left of ten
Numoco has made this dress in ten colour models.
What you can order is model 171440 in powder pink, behind the button pink 2, and model 198343 in dark green, behind the button green 3. The maker adds that shades of green may vary. The pink model is described as a Polish product in a dense, slightly stretchy material.
Who it's for
For you if you like a pencil dress and want a little movement at the hip. The peplum breaks the straight line between waist and skirt.
It is a covered, grown-up dress. The neckline is round and high, the shoulders are capped and the hem falls below the knee on the model. That makes it easy to wear to work and to a ceremony.

For the two models on sale the maker does not mention a lining. For an older colour of the same dress the maker wrote "no lining". We assume that holds here too, but we cannot confirm it.
Fabric and feel: dense, with a little stretch
The composition is 95% polyester and 5% spandex. The maker describes the fabric of the pink model as fleshy and slightly stretchy. In the photos it is matte and holds its shape. The peplum stands away from the body instead of hanging limp.
Fit and silhouette: check the table for your colour
Here the supplier data needs care. The pink and the green dress have different size tables, and the difference is large. Pink size M has a chest of 80 cm, a waist of 70 cm and hips of 86 cm. Green size M has 88, 74 and 94 cm. So the pink runs smaller, or was measured differently. The maker does not explain it.
Our advice: compare the row for your colour with a fitted dress you own, and if you choose pink, look one size up as well. Pink is in stock in S, L and XL today; green in S, M, L and XL.

Styling: simple shoes, bare neckline
The photos show the pink dress with gold-tone strappy sandals and the green one with clear-strap heels. Pumps work as well. Because the neckline is high, earrings do more than a necklace here.
A cropped jacket that ends above the peplum keeps the shape visible. A long blazer hides it.
Occasions
The supplier files it under formal and cocktail dresses. We would wear the green to a Christmas dinner, a graduation or an important day at work, and the pink to a wedding, a communion or a spring party.
Care: follow the label
The maker's data has no care instructions, so go by the label sewn into the dress. Hang it on a shaped hanger so the peplum keeps its curve.
The wow detail: a peplum that slopes
A straight peplum cuts the body in two. This one slopes. It is short on one hip and drops into a soft point on the other, so the eye travels diagonally across the dress. It is a small piece of tailoring, and it is the reason the dress looks less stiff than most pencil dresses.
