This button front long sleeve midi dress looks like a fitted jacket that keeps going to below the knee. One lapel folds back at the neck, and a row of buttons runs down the front, a little off-centre.
The fabric is 100% polyester, slightly stretchy and not lined. There are four plain colours and five sizes, S to 2XL.

The dress is sold under the label PassionFlower. The supplier lists it as buttoned, slightly stretchy and unlined, and gives the origin as "imported" without a country.
The product photos look digitally generated. They show the idea of the dress well: the shape, the collar, the colours. For the way the fabric really hangs, and for how many buttons there are, we would not rely on them.
Who it's for
For you if you want one dress that replaces a suit. It covers arms and knees, it is plain, and the buttons give it the authority of tailoring.

Fabric and feel: plain polyester with a little stretch
The dress is 100% polyester and the supplier calls it slightly stretchy. In a fitted dress that small amount of stretch matters, because it is what lets you sit down.
There is no lining, and the supplier does not state the thickness or whether the fabric is opaque. With the white version we would plan on skin-coloured underwear until you have seen it in daylight.
Fit and silhouette: fitted, below the knee
Size M is 105.9 cm long with a bust of 96 cm; size XL is 108 cm long with a bust of 108 cm. The supplier gives the chart in inches; we converted it. No waist or hip figures are given.
Because the hip is not listed, the bust is your only number. If your hips are a size larger than your bust, take the larger size: a pencil shape has to fit at its widest point.

Styling: pumps and one good bag
A dress with its own collar and buttons needs very little. Add pumps or slingbacks, a structured bag and small earrings. A long coat in a matching tone makes it a winter outfit.
Black and dark blue are the office colours. Burgundy suits dinners and the festive season, and white is for the brave.
