This viscose blouse by Nife is the kind of plain top you end up wearing twice a week. The maker describes a regular cut, a boat neckline and short sleeves trimmed with piping. There are no buttons and no zip. You pull it on over your head.
It is 100% viscose, 62.5 cm long in size 36 and 65 cm in size 44. Two colours are for sale: a periwinkle and an ecru.

The piece: what the old title got wrong
This page used to describe a scoop-neck jersey blouse with a chest pocket. The maker's data says something else: a boat neckline and fine viscose. There is no pocket in the description and none in the photos. What you do see at the chest is a pair of bust darts.
Nife calls the purple shade veri peri, a periwinkle between lilac and blue. That is model 193804. Model 193806 is ecru; our button calls it White.
Who it's for
For you if a T-shirt is too casual for work and a shirt with buttons is too much effort. This sits in between: the shape of a T-shirt in a woven fabric that drapes.
Viscose feels cool on the skin, which many people like under a blazer or on a warm day.

Fabric and feel: 100% viscose
The blouse is 100% viscose. The maker calls it fine viscose that is light and pleasant to the touch. In the photos the fabric is thin and matte and falls in soft folds. The ecru version will show dark underwear, as light viscose does.
Fit and silhouette: straight, to the hip
The cut is straight with a little shaping from the bust darts. Size 36 has a chest of 98 cm and size 44 has 114 cm, so there is ease in every size. Length runs from 62.5 cm to 65 cm.
Stock is uneven today. The periwinkle is in stock in 36, 38, 42 and 44. The ecru is down to size 44. The size buttons show what you can order.

Styling: with wide trousers
The photos pair the periwinkle blouse with wide olive green trousers, worn loose in one shot and tucked in with the front pleats showing in another. The ecru goes into black trousers with red sandals.
Periwinkle and olive is a combination worth copying. The blouse also sits well under a blazer, because the neckline is flat and wide.
Occasions
The maker calls it a basic that can stand alone or work as a base. We would wear it to the office, on a city trip and to a summer dinner. It packs flat and takes little room in a suitcase.

The maker's data has no care instructions, so go by the label sewn into the blouse. Viscose can shrink in a hot wash and creases easily, so check the label for the temperature and hang the blouse up while it is damp.

A thin rolled edge runs around the neckline and around both sleeve hems. You barely see it from across the room. Up close it is what makes the blouse look finished, the way a hem stitch does on a good T-shirt.
