This necklace has one small heart on a fine chain. The heart is gold-tone stainless steel, and the face is filled with a red stone, set flush so the front is smooth and flat. The chain is gold-tone stainless steel and closes with a lobster clasp. What the supplier states about the gold layer and the stone is in the materials section below.
In the photo the pendant hangs at breastbone height. The supplier does not give the chain length or the size of the heart.

The piece: a simple heart, a deep red
The form is a plain, symmetrical heart in a thin gold-coloured frame. In the photo the stone is deep red at the centre and lighter towards the edges. According to the supplier the back of the pendant is flat, with no raised edges, so it lies quietly against the skin.

The photo also shows a second, shorter chain with pearl-look beads. The supplier does not mention it, so we treat it as styling. You receive the heart necklace. The supplier also gives no chain length and no pendant size; ask us if you need them before you order.
Materials: the supplier's statement
The supplier lists the pendant as gold-plated stainless steel and the chain as gold-tone stainless steel. Gold-plated means a thin layer of gold colour on top of the steel, so this is a fashion necklace, not solid gold. We have no hallmark or certificate on file for this piece.
The stone is described as red agate with a polished face. The supplier gives no test or certificate for the stone, so we pass on its description and add nothing to it.
Size and length: what the photo shows
Without figures from the supplier, the photo is the only guide. The chain is fine and the heart is small, roughly fingertip size next to the collarbone, and it hangs at breastbone height. That length sits well above most necklines, from a T-shirt to an open blouse.
Styling: alone or layered
The supplier photo layers it under a shorter chain with pearl-look beads, and that is a nice idea if you already own one. On its own, the red heart works with white, black and navy, and stands out against a bare neckline.
Occasions
Valentine's Day is the obvious one. A heart in red also fits a birthday, or simply a Tuesday when you want a little colour.
Care: keep it dry
The supplier gives no care instructions. As general practice for gold-plated jewellery: take it off before you shower, swim or exercise, put perfume on before the necklace, wipe it with a soft dry cloth and store it on its own so the chain does not tangle.

The stone sits level with its frame, so there is no ridge around the stone. Run a finger over it and the front feels like one smooth surface. Small, but you notice it every time you touch it.
