Materials and build: gold-plated stainless steel

According to the supplier the base is stainless steel with an 18K gold plating. These are gold-tone earrings, not solid gold, and the plating is a thin surface layer. The supplier gives no plating thickness and no test report.

The surface in the photos is polished and smooth, with soft dents where the bands twist, which is what gives them the hand-shaped look.

Size and dimensions: just under 4 cm

There is one size. The size chart gives 3.8 cm; the diagram gives about 3.7 cm high and about 1.4 cm wide. On the ear in the first photo the hoop runs from the lobe to roughly the jawline.

The weight is 14.7 g for the pair, according to the diagram.

Styling: hair back, neckline simple

Wide hoops need room. Wear your hair back or behind the ear, and keep the neckline simple: a white shirt, a black top, a light summer dress.

They carry an outfit alone. If you add a necklace, a single fine chain in the same gold tone is enough.
