The piece: texture does the talking
From a distance this is a plain blazer in an earthy colour. Up close you see fine ribs running down the cloth, with stitching in the same tone (supplier). It gives the jacket the relaxed look of a casual blazer while the cut stays classic.
The photos show two patch pockets at the hip, three buttons on each cuff, a small emblem on the left pocket and a pin on the lapel. One note: the supplier text mentions flap pockets, but the photos show patch pockets without flaps, and we go by the photos.
Who it's for
For the man who wants a jacket between a suit and a cardigan. It suits office days without a dress code, dinners, and anyone who is tired of navy. With sizes up to 58 and a chest of 124 cm, bigger builds are covered too.
Closer look: the details we can confirm
- Two-button front (supplier and photos)
- Notch lapels (supplier and photos)
- Two patch pockets at the hip (photos)
- Three buttons on each cuff (photos)
- Fine vertical-ribbed weave with tonal stitching (supplier)
- Small emblem on the left pocket and a lapel pin (photos)
All photos are taken on a mannequin, so we can't show how it sits on a person. The supplier says nothing about a lining or a back vent.
Fabric and feel
The supplier writes "Polyester" as the material. Following our house rule for a single declared fibre, we list it as 100% polyester, as declared by the supplier. The ribbed surface looks a bit like fine corduroy in the photos, but the supplier does not call it that, so neither do we.
Fit and length
The sizes follow EU suit sizing, 46 to 58. Size 50 has a chest of 108 cm, a shoulder of 45.4 cm, a sleeve of 61.7 cm and a back length of 70.5 cm. Compare those with a jacket you own that fits well; the shoulder is the measurement that can't be altered easily.
The supplier asks you to allow 2-3 cm difference.

Styling: with a tie or with a knit
The supplier shows it with a white shirt and a navy patterned tie, which is the formal end. We like it just as much over a cream roll-neck with dark jeans, or with beige chinos and brown shoes. Green works well with rust and camel; coffee brown with blue and grey.
Occasions
A dinner out, a job interview at a relaxed company, a christening or an autumn wedding as a guest. It also turns an ordinary Friday at the office into something a little smarter.
Care
The supplier data has no care instructions, so follow the sewn-in label. As with any structured jacket, hang it on a shaped hanger and brush it now and then, so you wash it less often.
The wow detail: the rib
Run your eye down the sleeve in the close-up photos: fine lines, dead straight, catching the light differently as the arm bends. That texture is what makes people ask where the jacket is from.
