This fitted turtleneck by Rue Paris is the thin, close kind you wear under everything from October to April. It is knitted in a fine rib, 90% cotton and 10% spandex, with long sleeves and a folded roll neck.
There are two sizes, S/M and L/XL, and ten colours to choose from.

The piece: one cut, many model numbers
Rue Paris gives each colour its own model number and the same short description: a one-colour turtleneck in a fitted cut with long sleeves. The newest model adds that the material is ribbed, soft and stretchy, and that the length is standard.
The supplier's colour names are basic, and some repeat. There are two greens, a dark bottle green and a teal. There are two pinks, a bright fuchsia and a dusty pink. Blue is a strong cobalt and brown a dark chocolate. Use the photo next to each colour button to be sure.
White, a light beige and a rust brown are still in the gallery. Those three are no longer available.
Who it's for
For you if you build outfits in layers. A thin roll neck goes under a blazer, a pinafore, a V-neck jumper or a shirt, and fills the gap at the neck that a scarf would otherwise fill.
It is also for anyone who finds synthetic knits sweaty. This one is mostly cotton.

Fabric and feel: cotton rib with stretch
The composition is 90% cotton and 10% spandex. Cotton makes it feel like a long-sleeved T-shirt against the skin. The spandex and the rib let it stretch over the head and close back around the neck.
The maker says the roll neck protects against the cold. A thin cotton layer does help, but this is a base layer and not a winter jumper.
Fit and silhouette: two sizes
S/M is listed for a chest of 82-86 cm and L/XL for 91-96 cm. There is a gap between the two. If your chest falls in that gap, the choice is about how close you want it: S/M for a second-skin fit, L/XL for a little air.
The maker gives no length. In the photos the hem reaches the hip, long enough to stay tucked in.

Styling: tucked in, layered over
The photos show it tucked into high-waist jeans, pleated black trousers and a pencil skirt. That is how it looks cleanest.
Black, grey and taupe are the workhorses. Red, fuchsia and cobalt are for when the rest of the outfit is quiet: a grey suit with a red roll neck is a small, good idea. The dark brown one is shown with wide brown trousers, tone on tone.
Occasions
The maker suggests everyday wear and work. We agree, and would add travel: two of these in a suitcase give you a week of outfits with one blazer and one pair of jeans.
Care: follow the label
The maker's data has no care instructions, so follow the sewn-in label. Wash the strong colours, the red, fuchsia and cobalt, with similar shades the first few times.
