The piece: three designs behind three buttons
Our colour buttons say black, black 2 and black 3, which tells you nothing. Going by the model numbers, black is Mosaic 05, black 2 is Mosaic 02 and black 3 is Mosaic 01.
The gallery shows the designs in the same order. The first is the boldest: large open cubes and hexagons in thin lines. The second is a dense field of interlocking curved bands. The third is a web of irregular angular cells, a bit like cracked glaze.
The maker's text is the same for all three, apart from the number: a mosaic pattern of a geometric nature over the whole surface.
Who they're for
For you if your winter wardrobe is mostly plain dresses and skirts, and you want one thing that changes them. The maker says it well: even the simplest basic dress gets a new character.
If you prefer your legs to stay in the background, pick the second design. Its small, even pattern reads as texture from a distance.

The maker gives no denier value for these tights. Judging by the photos, the ground is thin and transparent.
Materials and build: polyamide and spandex, per design
The three designs differ slightly in composition. Mosaic 05 is 86% polyamide and 14% spandex. Mosaic 02 is 92% polyamide and 8% spandex. Mosaic 01 is 91% polyamide and 9% spandex.
In practice that means Mosaic 05 has the most stretch. With all three, the pattern is knitted into the tights, so it will stretch and open up a little over the thigh.
Size and dimensions: choose by hip measurement
The maker's table gives a hip range per size, and the ranges overlap a lot: 100 to 112 cm for 2-S, 104 to 116 cm for 3-M, 108 to 120 cm for 4-L and 108 to 128 cm for 5-XL.
No height is given. If you are tall, take the larger of the two sizes your hips fit, so the pattern does not have to stretch as far in length.

Styling: one pattern at a time
Wear them with plain clothes. A black knit dress, a grey skirt, a camel coat: all of them leave the legs to carry the pattern.
Shoes should be simple too. Black ankle boots or loafers work with every design. A second pattern in the skirt competes with the tights, and usually both lose.
Occasions
The maker says they work for various occasions. We would wear them to the office with a plain dress, to a birthday, to the theatre. For a strict dress code, the second design is the calmest of the three.
Care: follow the packaging
The maker's data has no care instructions, so follow the packaging. Put tights on with smooth hands and no rings; a patterned knit catches more easily than a plain one. A laundry bag helps in the wash.
The wow detail: the pattern does not stop at the knee
Many patterned tights fade into a plain panty part. In the photos these keep their design right up to the waistband and down over the foot, so a short skirt or a slit never shows where the pattern ends.
