White Tie-Front Crop Top and Ruffle Mini Skirt Set

This two-piece set has a cropped top that ties at the front and a mini skirt made of tiered ruffles. The sleeves are long and open into wide bells at the wrist.

Both pieces are white and, according to the supplier, 100% polyester. The set comes in S, M and L.

Fabric and feel: light and a little sheer

The supplier lists polyester, which we give as 100% polyester. In the close-ups the fabric has a fine crinkle texture and lets some light through. The supplier does not mention a lining, so plan for skin-tone underwear under white.

Thin polyester like this dries fast and weighs almost nothing in a suitcase.

Fit and silhouette: cropped and very short

The top is 37.5 to 38.5 cm long and ends well above the navel. Sleeves are 61.5 to 62.5 cm. Bust runs from 84 to 92 cm, and because the top ties, you set how closed it is.

The skirt is 26 cm in every size, with a waist of 62, 66 or 70 cm before the elastic stretches and a hip of 96 to 104 cm. On the model it ends at the top of the thigh. The supplier asks you to allow 2-3 cm.

Styling: together or apart

Worn together it is a full look; add flat sandals and a woven bag. Over a bikini it works as a beach outfit. You can also split it: the top with high-waisted jeans, the skirt with a plain fitted tank top.

Occasions

Wear it on a summer holiday, at a festival, to a beach bar or for photos on a terrace with a view.

Care: check the label first

The supplier gives no care instructions, so follow the label sewn into each piece. As general practice for thin white polyester with ruffles: wash cool with whites only, in a laundry bag so the ties do not tangle, and hang to dry.

The wow detail: the bell sleeves

Raise your arms and the sleeves fall open like petals. In the second photo the model does exactly that, and the whole outfit changes shape. It is a small set with a big gesture.
