The piece: a textured mini by Circular
The dress is sold under the label Circular. The supplier's list is brief: tied, ruched, slightly stretchy, not lined, imported.
In the photos the neckline is heart-shaped with a small opening under the tie. The straps are wide and have frilled edges. The bodice follows the body to the waist, and from there the skirt flares a little and ends in a wavy hem around mid-thigh. At the back the neckline is straight, with a gathered panel between the straps.
Who it's for
For you if you like a short dress for warm days and want some detail without a print. One colour, a lot of surface.
Two things to weigh up first. It is short, and it is not lined. Light beige fabric without lining can show what is under it, so skin-tone underwear is the sensible choice.

The composition is 95% polyester and 5% elastane, and the supplier calls it slightly stretchy. The crinkle is part of the fabric, which means creases from a suitcase will not stand out.
There is no lining. The supplier gives no fabric weight, so we cannot say how thick it is; in the photos it holds its shape and does not cling.
Fit and sizing: close on top, short below
The chart numbers are small because the fabric is measured flat and gathered. In M the bust is 78 cm, the waist 73.9 cm and the length 51.1 cm. The supplier does not say from where the length is measured; in the photos the hem sits around mid-thigh.
The supplier gives the chart in inches and we converted it. The dress stretches a little, but not a lot. If your bust or waist is well above the chart figure for your usual size, go one size up.

Styling: straw, sandals, a jacket for later
The photos pair the dress with a straw bag and thin gold-coloured jewellery. Flat sandals keep it relaxed. For the evening, block heels and a short jacket over the shoulders are enough.
With this much texture you can leave the necklace at home. Bare legs suit it in summer; later in the year, a long cardigan and ankle boots stretch the season.
