This navy textured sweatshirt has the ease of a jumper you pull over your head and the look of something a little smarter. The fabric has a raised diamond pattern, and the neckline is cut open with a small notch at the front.

The piece: texture and a notch
The label is Irina. The supplier describes it in four words: textured, notched, long sleeve, and files it under basic style. The fabric is listed as 95% polyester and 5% spandex with no stretch, and the origin as imported.
We have three photos, all of the front. They show a dark blue cloth with a quilted look: small diamonds that stand up from the surface. The neck is round with a short slit in the middle, and there are no buttons or zips to be seen. We have no photo of the back, so we will not describe it.
Who it's for
For you if you work from home and still have video calls, or if you want one top that goes from the school run to a lunch without changing. Navy is easy to combine and kinder near the face than black.
The cut is roomy. The bust is 100.1 cm in the smallest size, so nothing clings.

Fabric and feel: a patterned polyester knit
The supplier gives 95% polyester and 5% spandex and rates the fabric as no stretch. The supplier does not say how thick it is or whether the inside is brushed, so we leave that open.
What the texture does is practical. A patterned surface shows creases and small marks less than a flat one, which is handy for a top you wear a lot.
Fit and silhouette: relaxed, to the hip
Size M has a bust of 103.9 cm and a length of 64 cm. Each size up adds a few centimetres in the bust and 1 cm in length, up to 121.9 cm and 67.1 cm in 2XL.
On the model the hem band rests on the hip and the sleeves blouse a little above the cuff. Take your usual size for a relaxed fit. Since the supplier lists no stretch, do not size down in the hope that it gives.

Styling: jeans, a pendant, done
The photos show it with blue jeans and a short pendant that hangs in the notch. That is the simplest way to wear it and it works.
White or cream trousers make the navy look fresher. For the office, tuck the front loosely into tailored trousers and add loafers. A shirt collar under the notch is worth trying too.
Occasions
Wear it on working days, at the weekend, on a train journey or to a parents' evening. It is a top for ordinary days when you want to be comfortable and look as if you made an effort.
