At first glance you see a cropped top over tailored shorts with a tie belt. It is one garment. Moe built this sleeveless playsuit with a double top: a loose layer that lies over the bodice and ends above the waist.
So you get the look of a set and the ease of a single zip. It is 82 to 90 cm long from shoulder to hem and comes in dusty pink, navy blue, black and beige.

The piece: one suit, says the maker
The maker's words: one suit, many possibilities, thanks to short legs and a double top. The supplier files it under playsuits, and it closes with a covered zip.
We say this plainly because this page used to describe a top and matching shorts as two pieces. You receive one playsuit. The top layer is attached and cannot be worn separately.
The maker also mentions jacket-like lapels. In the photos the top layer has a round neck and a pleat down the centre front; we see no lapels, so do not expect them.
Who it's for
For you if you like the idea of shorts at a party and want them to look dressed. The loose top layer covers the waistline, which many women find comfortable.
Sizes run from S to XXL, with hips of 94 cm in S and 118 cm in XXL.

Fabric and feel: polyester with 5% spandex
The composition is 95% polyester and 5% spandex. The maker adds no description of the cloth. In the photos it is smooth and matte, and firm enough to hold the pleat in the top and the crease-free line of the shorts.
The spandex gives a little stretch, which matters in a one-piece when you sit down.
Fit and silhouette: check the length of your torso
With a playsuit the total length matters more than with a dress, because it has to fit between your shoulders and your crotch. The table gives 82 cm in S, 84 cm in M, 86 cm in L, 88 cm in XL and 90 cm in XXL.
Size M measures 89 cm at the chest, 81 cm at the waist and 100 cm at the hips. The belt lets you pull the waist in. If you have a long torso, size up; a playsuit that is too short is uncomfortable all day.

Styling: heels for evening, trainers for day
The model wears it with heeled sandals, nude with the light colours and black with the black one. That is the party version.
For daytime, white trainers and a crossbody bag bring it down to earth. In spring, a blazer over the shoulders works well with the tailored look of the shorts. Tie the belt in a knot with the ends hanging, as in the photos, or in a bow at the side.
Occasions
We see it at a summer wedding, a graduation party and a birthday dinner on a terrace. In navy or black it can also do an office summer party.
One practical note that applies to every playsuit: for the bathroom you take it off from the top. The covered zip makes that quick.
Care: follow the label
The maker's data has no care instructions, so follow the label sewn into the playsuit.
Take the belt out of the loops before washing, or tie it loosely, so it does not twist around the rest.
