A long scarf with tassels, in blocks of colour
This scarf is 206 cm long and not shy. Wide bands of colour run along its length, large flower and star motifs are woven in, and each end finishes in thick twisted tassels in yet another colour.
It is made of 100% polyester with a brushed, fluffy surface. There are many colourways, from mustard and dusty pink to royal blue and olive.

The piece: one scarf, a model number per colourway
The wholesaler sells this scarf under its label AT and gives every colourway its own number, from 190543 upwards. The description is the same for all: a long scarf with decorative stripes and patterns, with tassels, for autumn and winter.
The supplier's colour names are generic. Four versions are called orange and two are called yellow, so our buttons carry our own names. Use the photos to choose: click a colour and check the picture before you order.
Both faces of the scarf are different. In the royal blue version, for example, the other side is olive green. You see both when the scarf turns.
Who it's for
For you if your winter coat is plain and you want the scarf to be the outfit. One of these over camel, grey or navy changes the whole picture.
If you prefer calm colours, look at the peach and beige or the mauve version. They are the quietest of the range.

The maker gives no width. In the photos the scarf is wide enough to cover a shoulder when you open it out.
Fabric and feel: brushed polyester
The scarf is 100% polyester. It looks like a brushed knit in the photos, with fine fibres standing up from the surface, but there is no animal fibre in it according to the maker's composition.
That matters if you can't wear such fibres on your skin, and it also means the scarf is light for its size. The supplier says it adds warmth; we have no figures for that.
Size and dimensions: 206 cm long
There is one size. At 206 cm the scarf goes once around the neck with both ends hanging to the hip or lower, as in most photos, or twice around with short ends.
The width is not stated. Judging by the photos it is a wide scarf that you can also spread over your shoulders like a stole.
Styling: plain coat, loud scarf
The supplier names three ways to wear it: wrapped around the neck, loose on the shoulders, or as an extra layer. The photos show it over a camel jumper, a white knit and a light blue coat.
Pick one colour from the scarf and repeat it once, in a hat or gloves. More than that gets busy.
Occasions
The maker places it in the autumn and winter wardrobe. Wear it on grey days in town, at a Christmas market, on a walk in the woods. It is also an easy present, since one size suits everyone and you only have to pick the colour.
Care: follow the label
The maker's data has no care instructions, so go by the label on the scarf. Brushed fabrics tend to pill where a bag strap rubs, so carry your bag on the other shoulder when you can.
The wow detail: the tassels
They are thick, twisted like rope and never match. A mustard scarf ends in purple tassels, an orange one in mint and lilac, a yellow one in blue and orange. It is a small bit of mischief at the end of two metres of colour.
