This long-sleeve bodysuit by Figl is the plain top you wish stayed in your waistband. It has a wide neckline, close sleeves to the wrist and a brief-cut bottom, in a stretch fabric of 95% polyester and 5% spandex.
It comes in sizes S to XL and in five colours: white, sage green, pink, dark green and black.

The piece: a classic, in the maker's words
Figl needs two sentences for it: a classic bodysuit with long sleeves and a boat neckline, a good choice for many outfits. That is the whole description, and it is fair.
Two notes from the photos. The neckline looks more like a wide scoop than a straight boat neck: rounded and fairly low at the front, higher at the back. And the maker's colour names differ a little from ours. The white one is listed as beige, and there are two greens, a soft sage (button: green) and a dark bottle green (button: green 2).
The wholesaler files it under shapewear bodies, and our old title said it had no seams. The maker's description claims neither, so we do not either.
Who it's for
For you if you wear high-waisted trousers or skirts and are tired of re-tucking. A bodysuit gives a smooth line at the waist and stays put when you raise your arms.
It is a basic. You buy it for what it lets the rest of your wardrobe do.

The supplier does not say how the bottom fastens.
Fabric and feel: stretch polyester
The composition is 95% polyester and 5% spandex. In the photos the fabric has a fine rib and a matte surface, and it follows the body closely.
The white and pink are thin enough for underwear to show through, so choose a smooth bra close to your skin tone. The darker three are opaque in the pictures. The supplier lists the weight at 450 grams.
Fit and silhouette: close, with small numbers in the table
The maker's table lists the same figure for chest and hips: 74 cm in S, 78 cm in M, 82 cm in L and 86 cm in XL. Those are the measurements of the bodysuit lying relaxed. On the body the fabric stretches well beyond them.
Length runs from 71 cm in S to 72.5 cm in XL. If you have a long torso, that is the number to watch: take a size up so the bodysuit does not pull at the shoulders.

Source: the maker's size table, the same for all five colours. The chest and hip figures are the bodysuit at rest, before the fabric stretches, so they look small. Take your usual size.
Styling: under everything
Black under a suit instead of a shirt. White with blue jeans and a belt. Dark green with a camel skirt. Pink under dungarees. The wide neckline leaves room for a necklace, and the long sleeves mean you can skip a cardigan indoors.
It also layers well under a slip dress or a sleeveless knit when the season turns.
Occasions
Work, weekends, evenings out: a plain long-sleeved body goes wherever the bottom half of your outfit goes. The maker calls it a good choice for many outfits, and that is the point of a basic.
Care: follow the label
The maker's data has no washing instructions, so follow the label sewn into the bodysuit.
For stretch basics in general: wash white with white, close any fastening at the bottom before washing, and skip the tumble dryer, which is hard on spandex.
The wow detail: the neckline
On a top this plain, the neckline is the design. It is cut wide enough to show the collarbones and the start of the shoulders, and rounded so it sits flat without gaping. Under a blazer it leaves a clean open space where a shirt would put a collar. It is a small thing, and it is why this body looks dressed and not sporty.
