This bucket bag is soft and roomy, with a single wide strap and a large gold-tone buckle that sits on your shoulder like a piece of jewellery. You adjust the strap at the buckle, so the bag works on the shoulder or crossbody.

It comes in black or in a warm cognac brown. The top is open, bucket style, so you can reach in with one hand.

The piece: a retro shape, kept simple

The shape is a classic: wider at the base, curved at the top, hanging from one strap. There is no logo and no hardware apart from the buckle. On the brown version the edges are a shade lighter, which gives it a worn-in look from day one.

The supplier describes the body as structured. In the photos we see something softer: the bag slouches when it hangs and folds a little under the arm. We think that is the nicer version, but you should know it. We sell it under wowstore.live, but we did not design or make it ourselves.

Who it's for

For you if you want one bag for most days: big enough for a wallet, phone, keys and a small umbrella, simple enough to go with everything. It suits you if you like to throw your things in and go, since there are no compartments to think about as far as we can see.

Material: not stated, so we don't guess

The supplier does not say what the bag is made of. In the photos the surface is smooth with a soft sheen and it creases gently where the bag bends. We won't put a material name on that. If the material matters to you, ask us before you order and we will check with the supplier.

Size: medium, judged from the photos

There are no measurements in the supplier data. The supplier calls the interior compact to medium. On the model the bag covers the area from waist to hip when worn on the shoulder, which makes it a day bag, bigger than a small crossbody and smaller than a tote.

The strap adjusts at the buckle. Shorten it to carry the bag under your arm, lengthen it to wear it across your body.

Styling: trench, blazer, jeans

The photos show the brown bag crossbody over a beige trench coat and the black one on the shoulder with a camel blazer. Both work because the bag is plain and the buckle adds the shine.

Brown is lovely with cream, jeans blue and olive. Black goes with everything and looks sharper with gold jewellery that picks up the buckle.

Care: wipe and store with shape

The supplier gives no care instructions. As a general habit for smooth bags: wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth, keep it away from rain and sharp keys, and stuff it with paper when you store it so it doesn't crease flat.

The wow detail: the buckle on your shoulder

On many bags the adjuster sits low on the strap, out of sight. This one puts a big square gold-tone buckle right at the top, where everyone sees it, and lets the strap end hang loose below. It turns a practical part into the whole design.
