The piece: denim look, rayon cloth
The shorts are sold under the label Velvet Ocean. The supplier's title calls them denim shorts, but the composition it gives is 95% rayon and 5% polyester. Rayon is a viscose fibre. So this is a denim look, not cotton denim, and it will feel softer and lighter than jeans.
In the photos the leopard spots are tan, brown and dark olive with a washed, slightly faded finish. The drawstring is a plain brown cord.

The composition is 95% rayon and 5% polyester. Rayon is made from plant pulp and has a soft, cool hand, which suits summer. The supplier lists no stretch, so the comfort comes from the elastic waistband and the loose cut.

Fit and silhouette: high waist, loose leg
Size M has a hip of 106.9 cm, a waist of 77 cm, a length of 36.1 cm and an inseam of 8.4 cm. The hip runs from 102.1 cm to 128 cm across the range and the waist from 71.9 cm to 98 cm.
In the photos the waistband sits at the navel and the leg is loose around the thigh. The fabric does not stretch, so use the hip figure to choose; the drawstring takes care of the waist.

Styling: let the print lead
The photos pair the shorts with a white cropped top and a brown bag. White, black, cream and tan all work, because they pick up colours in the print.
A loose white shirt, half tucked, makes them less beachy. Flat sandals or white sneakers finish the outfit.
