The piece: a pointed mule-sandal by Dear Monkey
The shoes are sold under the label Dear Monkey. The supplier calls them sandals, although the toe is closed. The spec list gives low heels, PU leather and rubber, true to size, imported, and no shoe box.
In the photos the toe cap is transparent mesh covered with fine embroidery and small sequins, edged with a metallic-look trim. Two slim straps cross the foot. In some pictures both lie over the instep and the shoe is a mule. In others one strap sits behind the heel, like a slingback. The supplier does not explain this, so we only report what the pictures show.
Who it's for
For you if you want a dressy shoe for a wedding or a party and do not want to spend the evening on stilettos. A low block heel spreads your weight, and an open back makes them easy to slip on.
Sizes run from 35 to 43, which covers small and large feet alike.

Materials and build: PU leather and rubber
The supplier names two materials, PU leather and rubber, without saying where each is used. PU leather is faux leather; the straps and trim in the photos have that smooth metallic-look finish. Rubber is the usual choice for an outsole. The mesh of the toe is not listed as a material.
Gold and silver are colour names here. The supplier makes no claim about metal.
Size and fit: true to size, says the supplier
The supplier's advice is to order your usual size. The chart gives a foot length per size: 22.4 cm for 35, 23.4 cm for 37, 24.4 cm for 39, 25.4 cm for 41 and 26.4 cm for 43.
The heel is described as low; no height in centimetres is given, and we will not guess one from a photo. A pointed toe is narrower at the front than a round one, so if you have wide feet, measure and consider the larger of two sizes.

Styling: let them show
In the photos they are worn with bare legs and a dark skirt. They want a hem that leaves the foot visible: cropped trousers, a midi dress, a suit with an ankle-length leg.
The gold colour is warm, close to champagne, and goes with cream, brown and green. The silver is cool and looks sharp with black, grey and blue.
Occasions
Wear them to a wedding, a dinner, a graduation or a holiday party. On grass a block heel sinks in less than a thin one, which is worth knowing for garden receptions.
Care: no instructions from the supplier
The supplier gives no care instructions. Our own cautious advice: wipe the straps and heel with a soft dry cloth, brush the mesh very gently, and keep the shoes in a cloth bag so the sequins do not catch. They ship without a box.
