The piece: a menswear check, cut big
The check is small and mixes brown, beige and a little black. Up close it looks busy; from a few metres away it reads as a soft brown. The shoulders look structured in the photos, and the body falls straight from there.
We sell it without a brand, because the supplier names no maker. The supplier gives no information about a lining.
Who it's for
For you if you like the borrowed-from-the-boys look: a blazer that is a little too big on purpose, worn with jeans rather than matching trousers. It suits someone who wants one jacket that works over a shirt in September and over a knit in October.

Fabric and feel: polyester
The supplier lists polyester as the only fibre, so we write 100% polyester. Polyester holds its shape and creases less than many fabrics, which suits a blazer you throw on and off all day. It does not breathe much, so on a warm day you will feel that.
The supplier gives no fabric weight and does not say whether the blazer is lined. In the photos it holds a clean line at the shoulders and lapels.
Fit and silhouette: long and loose
The bust runs from 106 cm in XS to 126 cm in XL, so even the smallest size has plenty of room. Length grows from 71 cm to 75 cm, which on the model ends below the hips. Sleeves are 60 to 64 cm; the model wears them pushed up with her shirt cuffs folded over.
Want it neater? Go one size down. Want the full oversized look from the photos? Take your usual size. The supplier says to allow 2-3 cm difference.

Styling: white shirt, wide jeans
The supplier styled it the way we would wear it: open, over a crisp white shirt with the cuffs folded back over the blazer sleeves, with wide light-blue jeans and pointed black shoes. The brown check and the faded denim look relaxed together.
For a warmer version, swap the shirt for a cream roll-neck. For the office, wear it with straight black trousers and loafers.
Occasions
Wear it to the office over a shirt, on a city trip with jeans and flat shoes, or to Sunday lunch over a knit. It is the jacket for days when a coat is too much and a cardigan too little.
Care: follow the label
The supplier gives no care instructions, so follow the sewn-in label. As general practice for a blazer: hang it on a wide hanger so the shoulders keep their shape, air it between wears, and steam out creases rather than ironing the lapels flat.
The wow detail: the length
Many check blazers stop at the waist. This one is 71 cm long even in XS and falls below the hips. That length is what makes it look relaxed over wide jeans instead of stiff, and it lets you wear it open without it flapping.
