A long red dress with one bare shoulder and a belt
This is a long red dress that does a lot with one colour. One shoulder is bare, a stand collar ends in a long tie at the front, a draped sleeve falls from the other side, and a wide belt with a big rectangular buckle pulls it in at the waist. A slit at the front opens to the thigh when you walk.
The supplier gives the fabric as 100% polyester. Sizes run from XS to 2XL, and the length is 144 to 149 cm, which reaches the ankle on the model.

The piece: lines that go in every direction
Most of the drama is in the top half. The bare shoulder runs diagonally, the tie hangs straight down from the collar, and the draped sleeve swings past the hip on the other side. Below the belt everything calms down into a long straight skirt, so the eye goes back up to the face.

Fabric and feel
The supplier lists polyester; under our single-fibre rule we write it as 100% polyester. In the close-ups the fabric is smooth and matte with a slight sheen, and the draped sleeve hangs in soft folds. The supplier says nothing about a lining, so we cannot promise one.
Fit and length
The supplier's chart goes from a bust of 86 cm and a waist of 64 cm in XS to a bust of 112 cm and a waist of 90 cm in 2XL. Length grows by one centimetre per size, from 144 to 149 cm. The measurements are taken flat, so allow 2-3 cm difference.
Because the belt sets the waist, choose your size on the bust first and then check the waist. If you are between sizes, the larger one is easier to take in with the belt. With heels the hem sits around the ankle, as in the street photo.

Styling: keep the rest simple
The dress already has a buckle, a tie and a sleeve that moves, so keep everything else quiet. In the street photo it is worn with silver strappy sandals and a small silver bag, and that works: the silver matches the buckle. Gold sandals would be warmer. Skip a necklace; the collar and tie take that spot.
Occasions
Wear it to a gala or an evening wedding where you are a guest, as long as the bride is not wearing red. It also suits a Christmas party or New Year's Eve, when a red evening dress feels right for the season.
Care
The supplier gives no care instructions, so follow the label sewn into the dress. As general practice for a polyester dress with a large buckle, take the belt off before washing, wash red on its own the first time, and hang it to dry so the drape keeps its shape.
The wow detail: the buckle
Look at the close-up of the belt. The buckle is a big silver-tone rectangle, almost a frame, sitting right in the middle of all that red. It gives the dress a graphic centre point, and it is the detail people will look at first in photos.
