This is a viscose nightdress, short and simple, made by Kalimo for sleeping and for slow mornings. The fabric is 95% viscose with 5% spandex. It has short sleeves and a round neckline, both finished with a narrow trim in a contrasting colour.
On the model it ends at mid-thigh. It comes in black, navy blue and white, in sizes S to XXL, and it arrives packed in a cardboard box.

The piece: a Kalimo nightshirt in three colours
Kalimo is a nightwear label sold through a Polish wholesaler, which files this piece under nightgowns and sleep shirts. To be clear about what you are buying: it looks like a long T-shirt, but it is made and sold as nightwear.
Each colour has its own model number: 187035 for black, 187036 for navy blue and 187037 for the light one. The supplier lists that last colour as beige. In the photos it is white, perhaps a soft off-white, and our colour button says white.
The supplier describes the trim at the neckline and sleeves as delicate lace. In the photos you see it as a thin line in a contrasting colour. It is a small edge, so don't expect a wide lace border.
Who it's for
For you if you sleep in a nightdress and don't like pyjama trousers twisting around your legs. A short shirt shape leaves you free to move.
It is also for you if you like a smooth, thin fabric at night. The fit in the photos is close to the body. If you sleep better in something roomy, go up a size.

Fabric and feel: viscose with a little stretch
The composition is 95% viscose and 5% spandex. Viscose is a fibre made from cellulose. It is smooth, it drapes, and it feels cool when you first put it on. The supplier calls it breathable and comfortable for sleeping.
The spandex lets the fabric give when you turn over. In the photos the knit is thin and follows the body closely, and the black and the navy blue look fully opaque. The maker gives no fabric weight.
Size and fit: no chart, so use the photos
Here we have to be honest about a gap. The maker lists sizes S, M, L, XL and XXL, but the size table has columns for hips and chest and no numbers in them. We won't invent any.
What the photos tell you: the nightdress is cut close and ends at mid-thigh. The fabric stretches. If you wear a nightshirt loose, take one size above your usual. Not sure between two sizes? Send us your measurements and we will ask the supplier before you order.
How to wear it
On its own in a warm bedroom, or under a long dressing gown when the heating is still off in the morning. Thick socks and a cardigan turn it into what you wear for the first coffee.
The contrast trim is the reason to think about colour. On the white nightdress the dark line is clearest. On the black and the navy blue the trim is light and shows up at the sleeves.
Occasions
This is nightwear, so its occasions are nights and lazy Sundays. It folds small, which makes it easy to take along for a weekend away or a hospital bag.
Because it comes in a cardboard box, it also works as a present. A nightdress is a kind thing to give someone who never buys one for herself.
Care: follow the label
The maker's data has no care instructions, so follow the label sewn into the nightdress.
Viscose in general is weaker when wet. A gentle cycle, no wringing and drying flat or on a hanger are safe habits. Wash the white one apart from the dark colours.
The wow detail: one thin line
Take the trim away and this would be a plain shirt. The thin contrast edge around the neckline and the sleeves is what makes it look finished. It draws the neckline like a pencil line, and on the white version it is the first thing you see.
