This T-shirt and shorts set comes as two pieces in the same fabric and colour: a round neck T-shirt and a pair of shorts with an elastic waist. The fabric has a raised grid of small squares, which the supplier calls textured.

The label is DapperMate. The supplier lists the set as two-piece, basic style, lightweight and breathable, slightly stretchy, in 95% polyester and 5% spandex, imported.
The army green set is shown in the most detail: on a model, on hangers and in five close-ups. Those close-ups show a ribbed neckband, a stitched sleeve hem, an elastic waistband with a white drawstring and a side pocket in the shorts.

Fabric and feel: textured polyester with spandex
The fabric is 95% polyester and 5% spandex. The supplier describes it as lightweight, breathable and slightly stretchy. A grid texture like this lifts part of the fabric off the skin, which is one reason such knits are popular for summer sets.
One close-up shows the inside: it is smooth, and the grid sits on the outside only. The supplier gives no weight in grams.
Fit and silhouette: regular top, shorts to the knee
In size L the T-shirt is 73.9 cm long with a 115.1 cm chest and a 50 cm shoulder. The shorts in L are 54.1 cm long, with a 78 cm waist at rest and a 112 cm hip.
On the model the shirt falls straight and the shorts end just above the knee. The waist is elastic, so use the chest and hip figures to choose. The chart runs from S (chest 104.9 cm) to 3XL (chest 130 cm).

Styling: together or one at a time
Worn together it looks tidy, a bit like a summer tracksuit. Add white sneakers or slides and a watch, as in the photos.
Split the pieces for more outfits: the T-shirt with jeans or chinos, the shorts with a plain white tee. Army green and khaki are the outdoor colours. Black and light gray are the easy ones for town.
Occasions
Wear it on holiday, on a travel day, to a barbecue or around the house. The supplier does not present it as sportswear, so we describe it as a casual set and leave it at that.
Care: machine wash cold
The supplier says machine wash cold and tumble dry low. Wash the white set apart from the dark colours. Textured knits can catch on hooks and zips, so close those before washing.
