This long teddy coat is covered in short, curly pile from collar to hem. It has wide notch lapels, a double-breasted front, two front pockets and a lining. The colour is khaki, which in the photos looks like a light camel-beige.
It is 105 cm to 107 cm long, in sizes S to L. The supplier gives the fabric as polyester fibre, written here as 100% polyester.

The piece: a classic coat shape in teddy
Take a long tailored coat and make it in teddy fleece, and you get this: the lines of a smart coat with a soft, curly surface. The lapels are wide and lie flat, the shoulders are relaxed, and the back is straight and plain.
One large black button sits low on the front. The supplier lists two buttons for the double-breasted closure. Inside is a smooth beige lining. CJ's product title suggests an animal fibre, but its own description says polyester, so that is what we tell you. We sell it as "No brand".
Who it's for
For you if you want a coat that feels like a blanket but still looks like a coat. It suits the school run, a dog walk and a weekend in town equally well.
It comes in S, M and L only. With a bust of 100 cm to 110 cm it is roomy, so many women who normally wear XS or XL will also find a fit; check the table.

Fabric and feel: soft curls, smooth inside
Teddy fleece is a polyester pile brushed into small curls, so it looks like a sheepskin from a distance. In the close-up photos the curls are short and dense and cover even the edges of the lapels. The lining is smooth, so the coat slides over a jumper.
The supplier gives no weight or warmth rating, so we won't claim one. Teddy fleece does tend to pick up lint and flatten where a bag strap rubs.
Fit and silhouette: straight and long
The coat is cut straight: the bust, waist and hem are the same width, 100 cm in S, 104 cm in M and 110 cm in L. Shoulders run from 50 cm to 55 cm, which is wide, so the shoulder seam drops a little.
At 105 cm to 107 cm long it ends below the knee on most women. Sleeves are 52 cm to 54.5 cm. If you want to wear a thick knit under it, take your usual size; it has the room.

Styling: tone on tone
Camel-beige teddy goes well with soft, light colours. Wear it over cream knitwear and ecru jeans, or over a grey hoodie and black leggings for errands. Brown boots and a chunky scarf finish it.
For contrast, try it over all black: black turtleneck, black trousers, black boots. The coat becomes the only thing anyone sees.
Occasions
Weekend walks, the Christmas market, coffee in town, the drive to family on a December Sunday, and every grey Monday from November to March.
Care: check the label, brush gently
The supplier gives no care instructions, so follow the label sewn into the coat. As a general habit for teddy fleece: wash cool on a gentle cycle if the label allows it, never tumble dry, and fluff the curls with a soft brush once it is dry.
