This cotton shirt by Awama is cut loose, with a collar, long sleeves and a straight hem at the hip. It is 100% cotton. In the photos the fabric has a slightly irregular woven texture, which gives it a relaxed, summery look.
It comes in white, black and beige, in sizes S to XL. One thing to know up front: the photos show it with matching shorts, and those are not included. You are buying the shirt.

The piece: Awama shirt, three colours
The maker calls it a classic: a shirt with a loose fit that leaves room to move, made of cotton, with a collar. The description also mentions buttons hidden under the placket.
On that last point the photos tell a slightly different story. The shirt is worn open in every picture, and on the black and the beige one you can see buttons along the front edge. So expect a normal button front. If a covered placket matters to you, ask us and we will check with the supplier.
Who it's for
For you if you want one shirt that does three jobs: closed for work, open over a tank top at the weekend, and thrown over a swimsuit on holiday.
It is roomy. Size S already has a chest of 100 cm. If you want it to fit like a regular shirt, consider one size down from your usual; if you want the overshirt look from the photos, take your own size.

Fabric and feel: 100% cotton
The shirt is 100% cotton, and the maker describes the cotton as breathable. There is no stretch fibre in it, which is one reason for the loose cut.
In the photos the cloth is matte with a slubby, slightly open weave. Fabrics like that crease, and they look fine creased. If you want it crisp, you will be ironing. The white one is worn over a white top in the pictures, so we cannot tell you how sheer it is on its own.
Fit and silhouette: roomy and straight
The chest is 100 cm in S, 104 cm in M, 110 cm in L and 116 cm in XL. Length goes up one centimetre per size, from 66 cm to 69 cm.
On the model the hem lands at the hip and the shoulder seam sits below the shoulder. The sleeves are full length; rolled to the elbow they stay put thanks to the buttoned cuff.

Styling: shirt, jacket or beach cover-up
The photos show it open over a white top with matching shorts and loafers. You can get close to that look with any tailored shorts in a similar colour.
Closed and half tucked into jeans, it is an easy office outfit. The maker suggests shorts or a skirt for summer. The beige one over a black slip dress works for an evening on a terrace, and the white one is the obvious choice over swimwear.
Occasions
The maker names everyday wear and more formal outfits. Think of the office, a lunch, a city walk, a flight where the air conditioning is set too cold.
