The piece: model 162274 by Figl
Figl needs three short sentences for it: a cotton maxi skirt, a wide elastic band at the waist and a slit to the knee on the left, no pockets. The wholesaler lists it as a long skirt in the skirts category.
The earlier title on this page sold it as a two-piece set with a tie-waist top. That was wrong. We changed the page so that it matches the parcel: one skirt.
The colour is beige in the supplier data. In the photos it is a warm camel beige. Stock is down to a single piece in XL at the wholesaler as we write this.
Who it's for
For you if you want a long skirt for warm days that feels like a T-shirt. Cotton and an elastic waist make it an easy thing to pull on.
The shape is a narrow column, so it follows the hips. The slit is there for walking; without it a skirt this long and straight would shorten your stride.

Fabric and feel: pure cotton
The skirt is 100% cotton with no stretch fibre. In the photos it looks like a cotton jersey that hangs straight and moves softly when the model walks.
Without a stretch fibre, the give comes from the knit and from the elastic waistband alone. The maker does not state the fabric weight or mention a lining.
Fit and silhouette: long and narrow
The table gives a length of 105 cm in S, 106 cm in M and 107 cm in L and XL. Hips width runs from 90 cm to 102 cm and waist width from 72 cm to 84 cm.
On the model the hem reaches the ankle. Measure from your waist down to see where 105 to 107 cm lands on you. If your hips are close to the number in the table, the skirt will sit close; there is no stretch fibre to help.

Styling: one colour or a contrast
The photos show the tone-on-tone idea: a top in the same camel beige, knotted at the waist, with flat slide sandals. You can get close with any beige or sand-coloured T-shirt tied in a knot.
A white shirt and a woven bag give it a holiday feel. In autumn, a chunky cardigan and ankle boots work, and the slit keeps the boots in view.
Occasions
It is a skirt for summer days, holidays and relaxed weekends. With a blouse it can go to a casual office.

Cotton in general can shrink a little in a hot wash, and with a skirt this long a centimetre is noticeable. A cool wash is the careful choice unless the label says otherwise.

A long, straight skirt can look heavy. The slit on the left changes that. Standing still, the skirt is a closed column. When you walk, it opens to the knee and shows your leg and your shoes for a moment. It is also the reason you can take normal steps.
