The fit is built around three points: the shoulder, the waist and the hem. The shoulder is wide and padded, so it sits out from the body. The waist is the narrowest point, pulled in to create shape. The hip and hem are wider, so the coat has room over trousers, a dress or a skirt.

Length runs from 136 cm in size S to 138 cm in size L. On the model the hem reaches the ankle. Sleeve length goes from 60 cm to 62 cm, and shoulder width from 47 cm to 49 cm. All measurements are taken flat by the supplier, and they note you should allow 1 to 3 cm difference.

Styling: dressed up or kept simple

The photos show the coat worn over minimal, dark pieces, which lets the silhouette do all the work. That is a good place to start: a thin turtleneck, tailored trousers and pointed shoes for a sharp, monochrome look.

You can also soften it. Wear it open over a knit and jeans, or over a midi dress and boots. The flap pockets work for gloves or a phone, and the long line makes layering underneath easy. The bags and clutches in the photos are styling props and are not included with the coat.
