This long evening dress by Bicotone is built in two parts. The top is stiffened and covered in sequins. The skirt is layers of fine mesh that fall to the floor and open in a high slit.
The maker lists a length of 151 cm in size 34 and 154 cm in size 40, with a covered zip. The fabric is 97% polyester with 3% spandex. It comes in black, wine red, red and green.

Bicotone is the maker's label, and the supplier files this dress under evening dresses. The description names a stiffened top, sequins, a bottom made of mesh with a slit and a covered zip.
The photos show the neckline, which the text leaves out. The dress has one shoulder, with a second narrow strap running beside the main one. Between them is a small cut-out below the collarbone.
The old name of this page said two-tone. Each dress is one colour. In our menu "red" opens the dark wine red and "red 2" the bright red; the maker lists both as red.

The maker does not describe the layer under the mesh. In the photos the skirt is opaque where the layers overlap and sheer at the edges.

The composition is 97% polyester and 3% spandex. The maker describes the top as stiffened, which means it holds its own shape around the bust, and the sequins as shimmering.
The skirt is what the maker calls mesh. In the photos it looks like fine tulle: light, sheer in a single layer and full of movement. When the model walks, the layers trail behind her.
Fit and silhouette: fitted top, 151 cm and up
The maker's table goes up by 4 cm per size: chest 76, 80, 84 and 88 cm; waist 64, 68, 72 and 76 cm. Those are narrow numbers, and a stiffened top does not give, so measure yourself and take the size that matches your chest.
The length is 151 cm in 34 and one centimetre more with each size. That is long. On the model in high heels the skirt touches the floor, so if you are under average height, plan for heels or a visit to a tailor.

Styling: let one shoulder stay bare
With sequins and an asymmetric neckline, jewellery should stay away from the neck. Wear earrings and a bracelet on the bare-shoulder side. Hair up or swept to one side shows the straps.
The model wears heeled sandals, which the slit puts on show. A small clutch is enough. For the cold walk from the car, a long coat or a faux fur stole covers the shoulders without crushing the skirt.

The maker's data has no care instructions, so go by the label sewn into the dress. Sequins and fine mesh both snag: keep jewellery with claws and hooks away from the skirt, and store the dress hanging in a garment bag.
