The bag is sold under the label Whimsical Wallets. Our supplier's page is brief: PU leather, medium, imported. The older title on this page called it genuine leather. The supplier does not say that, so we have corrected it: this is faux leather.
The photos show a trapeze shape that is wider at the base than at the opening, with folded side panels and a pebbled surface. Under the base sit small gold-coloured feet. The inside is not shown in any picture.
Who it's for
For you if you carry your bag in your hand or in the crook of your arm and like it to stand up by itself when you put it down. The colour does a lot of work: burgundy lifts grey, navy, camel and black without shouting.
If you want your hands free, look elsewhere. No shoulder strap appears in the photos and the supplier does not mention one.

PU leather is a man-made material with a polyurethane surface that is embossed to look like grained hide. It contains no animal leather as far as the supplier's description goes. The ring on the front is gold-coloured; the supplier does not say what metal it is.

Styling: one strong colour
In the photos the bag is carried with a pale printed skirt and a white jacket, and the red stands out cleanly against both. It is just as good with a camel coat, a grey suit or dark jeans and a trench.
Burgundy shoes with a burgundy bag can look a bit matched. We prefer it as the only red thing in the outfit.
