This lace halter cami top by Zen Q is black, close-fitting and held up by two straps that you tie behind your neck. The front is gathered down the middle and the neckline has a narrow lace edge. At each side of the waist a lace panel lets a little skin show through.
The fabric is 95% polyester and 5% elastane, slightly stretchy according to the supplier. It comes in sizes S to XL and it can go in the washing machine on cold.

The piece: a halter cami by Zen Q
The top is sold under the label Zen Q. Our supplier lists two features for it, lace detail and a tie, and describes it as imported without naming the country.
The photos fill in the rest. The lace sits in two places: as a scalloped edge along the neckline and as a floral panel at each side seam, from the waist down to the hem. The back is plain black fabric and leaves your shoulders and upper back bare. We like that the lace is used sparingly. It reads as a detail, and the top stays easy to wear with jeans.
Who it's for
For you if you like a going-out top that shows your shoulders and still covers your front. It suits a dinner date, drinks with friends or a concert, and it works under a blazer when bare shoulders feel like too much.
It is a fitted top. If you prefer room around the waist, this is probably not your piece, or you take a size up.

Fabric and feel: stretchy jersey with lace
The supplier gives one composition for the whole top: 95% polyester and 5% elastane, slightly stretchy. In the close-up photos the main fabric looks matte and smooth, and the lace is a fine floral pattern you can see through.
The supplier does not say whether the lace panels are backed. In the photo on the model, skin shows through them, so plan your underwear around that.
Fit and silhouette: close to the body, short at the hem
The size chart points to a close fit. Size S has a bust of 75.9 cm and a waist of 69.1 cm; XL has 91.9 cm and 85.1 cm. The supplier gives these in inches and we converted them. Because the fabric stretches a little, the top is meant to sit snug against the body.
The listed top length is short, 27.9 cm in S and 32 cm in XL. The supplier does not say from where it measures. On the model the hem ends at the waistband of her jeans, so expect a top that stops around the waist and pairs most easily with a high rise. The halter ties let you set the height of the neckline yourself.

Styling: jeans by day, a blazer at night
The photo shows it with light blue jeans and a fine necklace, and that is the easy version. For an evening, try tailored trousers or a black midi skirt and let the bow at the neck hang long down your back.
In autumn a blazer or a short jacket over the top keeps the lace neckline in view and covers your shoulders. Wear your hair up if you want the bow to be seen.
Occasions
Wear it for a date, a birthday dinner or a night of dancing. On a warm day it also works with jean shorts on a terrace. For the office it is too bare on its own, so keep a jacket on.
Care: cold wash, low heat
The supplier's care instructions are short: machine wash cold, tumble dry low. Lace catches on zips and hooks, so we would wash the top in a laundry bag and tie the straps loosely first so they do not tangle.

From the front you see lace and ruching. Turn around and there is a wide black bow at the nape of your neck, with the ends falling down a bare back. You tie it yourself, so it can be a neat small bow one evening and long loose ribbons the next.
