Description
A ribbed sweater with asymmetric gold-button placket, in ten colours
Take a plain fitted jumper and run a row of gold-tone buttons across it at an angle. That is this sweater by AT. The buttons start left of the round neckline and end at the hem, and they are the only decoration.
The knit is a smooth rib in 49% viscose, 29% polyester and 22% polyamide. It comes in two double sizes, S/M and L/XL, and in ten colours.

The piece: one jumper, many model numbers
AT gives every colour its own model number, which is why this page covers a whole series. We read the supplier's description for each one. It is the same jumper every time: a casual sweater with a round neckline, long sleeves, standard length and decorative buttons that run the length of the front.
Note the word decorative. The buttons do not open anything. You pull the jumper over your head.
The gallery also shows a taupe, a white and a light blue version. Those are not available any more, so they are missing from the colour buttons or cannot be ordered.
Who it's for
For you if you want a thin, close-fitting jumper for under a blazer and you are bored with plain crew necks. The buttons give a simple outfit one point of interest.
It looks right if you like your knitwear fitted. The rib follows the body, and the photos show it tucked into high-waisted trousers every time.

Fabric and feel: a viscose-rich rib
The maker gives 49% viscose, 29% polyester and 22% polyamide. Viscose is the largest share, which usually makes a knit feel smooth and cool to the touch. The maker calls the material smooth and says it gives comfort.
A small note on the data. For five of the colours the supplier's table lists polyamide at 18%, which leaves the total short of 100. We use the complete set of numbers, the one that adds up.
Fit: two sizes, both fitted
There are two sizes. S/M has a chest of 82 to 86 cm and a sleeve of 59 to 61 cm measured on the outside. L/XL has a chest of 91 to 96 cm and a sleeve of 63 to 65 cm. The ranges exist because a rib knit stretches.
The table has no body length. On the model the hem reaches the hip, and the sleeves fall over the wrist.
Size chart (cm)
| Size | Sleeve, inside | Sleeve, outside | Chest |
|---|---|---|---|
| S/M | 49-51 | 59-61 | 82-86 |
| L/XL | 53-55 | 63-65 | 91-96 |

Styling: tucked in, with something high-waisted
The photos give you four ready-made ideas. With black tailored shorts, with grey pleated trousers, with a white skort and with wide dark jeans. In each one the jumper is tucked in, so the line of buttons ends at the waistband.
Pick up the gold tone once more, in a belt buckle or earrings, and stop there. The navy and the camel are the office colours. The fuchsia and the violet are for days when the jumper is the outfit.
Occasions
The maker suggests everyday wear and work. That fits: it is thin enough to wear indoors all day and neat enough for a meeting. Under a coat it is a layer for autumn and spring.
Care: follow the label
The maker's data has no care instructions, so follow the label sewn into the jumper.
A general habit for knits with buttons: wash them inside out in a laundry bag, so the buttons do not knock against the drum.
The wow detail: the diagonal
A straight row of buttons would have made this a cardigan lookalike. Set at an angle, the row cuts across the vertical ribs and gives the front a slight wrap effect, even though nothing wraps.
