This brown maxi dress is sleeveless with a high stand collar. It follows the body down to the hip and then flares into a mermaid hem that reaches the floor on the model. The fabric has a glossy leather look.
The supplier lists 100% polyester, so the shine comes from the finish, not from an animal hide. It comes in one colour, a dark chocolate brown, in S, M and L.

The piece: clean lines, high collar
Long panel seams run from the shoulders all the way down and open into separate flared panels at the hem. That is what makes the mermaid shape: the dress stays close until the knee, then the panels fan out.
The stand collar closes high at the neck, and a zip runs down the centre back from the top of the collar. We sell it without a brand, because the supplier data names no maker.

For you if you want an evening dress that is not black and not sparkly. The shine and the brown do the work, so you need very little else.
It is a fitted dress in a short size range, S to L, with a waist from 66 to 74 cm. If you are between sizes, look at the hips as well, because the dress hugs them.

Fabric and feel: a leather look in polyester
The supplier lists polyester, which we give as 100% polyester. The surface has a high, slightly wet-looking shine, the kind you know from leather-look trousers. In the hem close-up the reverse side is black. The supplier does not mention a lining, so we don't either.
A coated look like this usually feels smooth and a little cool at first. It does not breathe much, which makes it a dress for an evening indoors more than a hot summer day.
Fit and silhouette: close to the knee, then flared
Bust runs from 84 to 92 cm, waist from 66 to 74 cm and hips from 90 to 98 cm. Those are close measurements, so this is a dress that shows your shape. The shoulder is narrow, 32 to 34 cm, which suits the sleeveless cut.
Length is 144 to 146 cm, enough to reach the floor on most women in heels. The supplier asks you to allow 2-3 cm difference.

Styling: keep it simple
The supplier styled it with pointed black heels, a black handbag and the hair pulled back, and we would not change much. The high collar asks for small earrings rather than a necklace. Gold works well against the brown.
For a cold evening, a long black coat over it keeps the line.

Wear it to a gala, a New Year's Eve party, an evening wedding or a dinner where you want to arrive and be noticed.
Care: check the label first
The supplier gives no care instructions, so follow the label sewn into the dress. As general practice for coated, shiny fabrics: no hot ironing and no tumble dryer, which can dull or mark the surface. Wipe small marks with a damp cloth and hang the dress on a padded hanger.
