The piece: model 221135 by Step in Style
The western details are all there in the photos. The top edge dips into a V at the front and the back. Curved lines of stitching run over the shaft. A pull tab at the front carries a row of small metal studs.
The rest is practical. A zip on the inner side opens the boot. The heel is a square block and the sole is thick, with a welt line around the edge. The maker's data sheet lists the material as artificial. We call it faux leather, because that is what it is.
Who it's for
For you if you like the look of cowboy boots and do not want a boot up to the calf. A 14 cm shaft ends just above the ankle, so it fits under jeans and shows under a dress.
The block heel helps if you want height without wobble. Seven centimetres is a real heel, and a wide base makes it calmer to walk on than a thin one.

The upper is faux leather, according to the maker. In the photos it has a matte, slightly worn finish that suits the western shape. Inside, the maker lists a soft shoe lining and says it keeps the boot comfortable on colder days.
The data does not say what the sole or the heel is made of, and we have no weight for a single boot.
Size and fit: go by the insole length
The maker gives the insole length per size: 23.5 cm for 36, 24 cm for 37, 25 cm for 38, 25.5 cm for 39, 26 cm for 40 and 26.5 cm for 41. Stand on a sheet of paper, mark your heel and your longest toe, and measure the distance.

Styling: jeans, or a dress with bare legs
The maker suggests jeans, dresses and skirts, and the photos show the boots with bare legs. Under straight jeans only the toe and the heel show. With a floral midi dress you see the whole boot, and that mix of soft and tough is why people buy western boots.
In winter, thick tights in black make the leg and the boot one line.
