A short button-up cardigan with a tweed look
This button-up cardigan is short, round-necked and knitted from a yarn flecked with several colours, so it looks a little like a tweed jacket. Cream ribbed trim outlines the neck, the front, the hem and the cuffs.
It is 100% polyester with moderate stretch. There are two colour mixes, one blue and one pastel, in sizes S, M and L.

The piece: a heathered knit by Cloudia
The cardigan is sold under the label Cloudia. Our supplier lists it as a heathered button up long sleeve cardigan, basic style, with moderate stretch, and imported without a country.
The supplier's colour names are a bit odd, so here is what the photos show. Dark Light Blue is a mix of blues with flecks of orange and pink. Multi-Color Pastel is mostly soft pink with pale blue and cream. Both have the same cream trim and shiny round buttons.

For you if you like the look of a little tweed jacket and want the comfort of a knit. It is short, so it works with high-waisted skirts, trousers and dresses with a waist seam.

Fabric and feel: polyester knit
The yarn is 100% polyester and the supplier rates the stretch as moderate. In the photos the knit is nubby and thick-looking, with a mix of matt and slightly glossy threads. The supplier does not say what the buttons are made of.
We cannot tell from the photos whether the pocket flaps hide real pockets, and the supplier does not list pockets as a feature. Treat them as decoration until you have the cardigan in your hands.
Fit and silhouette: short and neat
The front length is 48.5 cm in S, 49.5 cm in M and 50.5 cm in L. That is short: on the model the hem sits at the waist. The bust measures 95 cm, 99.1 cm and 103.1 cm, the shoulder 36.6 cm to 38.6 cm and the sleeve 57.4 cm to 59.4 cm.
The shoulders are narrow and set in, so this is a fitted cardigan. If you want to button it over a blouse, look at the bust figure and leave yourself a few centimetres.

Styling: skirt, jeans or a dress
The photos show the blue mix open over a white crop top with a short blue skirt. Buttoned up with nothing underneath, it becomes a top.
The pastel mix is sweet with white jeans or a cream skirt. Either one sits nicely over a plain slip dress, where the cream trim does the framing.
Occasions
Wear it to brunch, to the office, to a birthday or a spring wedding as a cover-up. It dresses up a simple outfit without the stiffness of a jacket.
Care: cold wash, buttons closed
The supplier says machine wash cold and tumble dry low. Button the cardigan and turn it inside out, so the shiny buttons do not knock against the drum. A nubby knit keeps its surface longest when it dries flat.

With so many colours in the yarn, the knit could look restless. The cream trim calms it down. It runs around the neck, down the front, along the hem and round each cuff, and the pocket flaps repeat it. One plain colour gives the busy one its shape.
