Most waistcoats are stiff. This cotton gilet from Mirale is made of 95% cotton with 5% spandex, so it gives when you move. It has a V-neck, a row of buttons and a hem that ends in two points at the waist.
The style is called Fliss. It comes in grey, beige, black and pink, in sizes S to XXL.

The maker's description is brief: a buttoned vest in cotton with elastane, with a fitted cut, that goes with trousers, skirts and dresses.
In the photos the model wears it as a top, with trousers in the same fabric and colour. Those trousers are sold separately. This page is the gilet.
Who it's for
For you if you like the waistcoat look and find tailoring fabrics too warm or too formal. This one feels closer to a fitted cotton top with buttons.
The sizes run up to XXL, for a chest of 105-109 cm.

Fabric and feel: 95% cotton with stretch
The size table lists 95% cotton and 5% spandex; in the description the maker calls the stretch fibre elastane. Both words mean the same fibre.
That is the composition of a good T-shirt, and the photos support it: the fabric looks soft and follows the body without creasing sharply. The grey is a melange, with lighter and darker threads mixed.
Fit and sizes: choose by your chest
The maker gives one measurement per size, the chest, as a body range: S for 84-89 cm, M for 90-94 cm, L for 95-99 cm, XL for 100-104 cm and XXL for 105-109 cm.
There is no length in the table. In the photos the gilet ends at the waistband, with the two points a little lower. If you are at the top of a range and want to wear it without anything underneath, the next size up keeps the buttons from pulling.

Styling: with trousers, a skirt or over a dress
The maker names trousers, skirts and dresses. The photos show the tone-on-tone version with wide trousers.
We like the black one with blue jeans and the pink one with white. Over a thin long-sleeved top it also works in autumn. Leave the top button open if you want a deeper V.
Occasions
Wear it to a relaxed office, to lunch and on holiday. It is neat without being stiff.
For a formal event the cotton may look too casual; a woven gilet with a lining is the better choice there.
